May all of you find jobs and careers to support yourselves, your families, your pets, and may you never spend a single night dreading going to work the next day. May your jobs be fulfilling, safe, rewarding, prosperous, and healthy for you and your goals.

I wish everyone would admit that classic literature is inherently difficult to read, and that you shouldn’t feel stupid if you don’t “get it”. Especially the dark academia/ classic lit fandoms and stuff. Like unless you have the vocabulary and pop culture knowledge of an 18th century nobleman, it’s going to be a tough read. It’ll take you longer to read; you’re not stupid if you’ve spent several months on a single book! And you don’t have to enjoy everything. It’s okay if you got bored after one chapter of Wuthering Heights, and couldn’t be bothered to read the rest. It’s okay if you want to read your favourite kids book for the 10th time instead. You’re not stupid. No piece of literature is inherently better, more “important”, more “meaningful”, or more “intellectual” than another. First and foremost, read what brings you joy.

In 2016, over 75,000 mail-in ballots were left uncounted and discarded because they were received after  mail-in voting deadlines, which all vary by state, according to CBS news.

Some states like California allow you to check with the Registrar of Voters on-line to verify both if a ballot has issued and if it was received to help prevent voting errors.

Remember, the most common forms of voter fraud are 1) gerrymandering, 2) voter suppression and 3) foreign participation through both lobbying and online misinformation.

OCTOBER 13. IT’S BEING DELIBERATELY SLOWED. OCTOBER 13.

The postal service is being deliberately slowed.

i’m not american but i’m still reblogging this

please please please everyone who can vote make sure you’re registered and check when your ballot needs to be in. they are deliberately slowing things down so be careful and cautious about this, play it safe.

No words will ever be able to describe the absolute pure WARMTH that I feel when someone leaves a kind review on some of my writing. Bonus points if they go out of their way to mention a detail that they loved hjdfkkjfd.

Absolutely makes my day everytime. :)

And upon the Bear-King’s back she sat, riding through wood and valley, traveling far, and farther still, until she finally saw his castle rising on the hillside, overlooking the sea. Here she would live, with her Bear-King-Groom, and Shirayuki wrapped herself in the gloom of dusk, wishing herself far away from this place. Little did she know yet, of the kind heart nesting in the breast of her companion.

Finally. Finally. I couldn’t wait to finish this one, really. At last I can enter Folkvangr with a clear conscience, well, until the next time I decide to lean so heavily on a folk tale  xD

Human: Deal.
Fey: Very well. When you return home tonight, your mother will be in pristine health again. It will be like she never fell ill at all. Even the memory of her suffering will fade…
Human: Thank you so much. She means everything to me.
Fey: I know, I know. Let’s hope the price wasn’t too much for you after all… Only time will tell.
Human: So, when do we start?
Fey: …If I may ask you to elaborate?
Human: You said you wanted my firstborn.
Fey: Yes? And you agreed?
Human: Yeah, so, when do we start?
Fey:
Fey, blushing: Ah.

So good. It deserved a some art.

Why would you hide this in the tags !!!!

I like to think this piece is called “The Kitten’s Lullaby”, and it was considerately written not to use the very keys his cat occupies.

Sarper actually does write the music he plays on Instagram, and that one of his (nineteen) rescue cats is a regular at the piano, so it’s very, very likely he wrote that piece with his little friend’s comfort in mind.

He has a crowdfunding page for his rescue kitties, because feeding and caring for 19 cats on a piano teacher’s salary is…difficult. Please consider donating if you’re in a position to do so!
