i think his touch would be super light and gentle. mychael def would ask if you wanted to match his braid in his own hair, but not without being caught blue in the face.

his fingers definitely work nimbly yet slowly which just adds to the intimacy of the moment, and he'd prolly even hum while his tail sways peacefully and the flames in the fireplace crackle softly.

guhh... and if you ended up falling asleep under his touch and slumped against him in any form, he'd be too shy to move, stroking your hair gently with a smitten, blushy look on his face while he mutters a soft 'goodnight' to you.

he'd have such a silly goofy smile while his tail sways and flicks lazily, his ears droopy, and a soft yet prominent purr emitting from him.

if you were to tackle him with your love like much of us wanna do, he'd get super blushy and try to stabilize both of you while letting you smother him in your love.

after the kiss, he'd stare at you shy and confused while wondering what brought on the sudden hyperactivity, his skin flushed and his ears pulled back while twitching.

wait oh no-- i just remembered that hes like, 5'8 😭 he'd have to be sitting down or smth in order to have me kiss him.... oops (im like. 5'ft-5'2 ish)

if the mc was shorter than him, i'm sure he'd find the small little human intriguing and endearing (based on your choices, that is), he'd be more set on not trying to intimidate you with his taller stature despite not having a typically intimidating build.

if y'all were in a relationship at that point, he'd always be gentle with kisses regardless and shyly lean down while cupping your cheeks to plant a soft smooch to your face.

but if the mc was taller than him, he'd probably be a lot more shy and bashful. imagine bear hugging him and watching his ears twitch in shock before he caves and his tail wiggles. little forest dude x big buff mc sounds super cute <33

if it was when mc and him first met, he'd be in a bit of a panic trying to figure out how to wake you up without being rude or suddenly scaring you. those were the last things he wanted 😅😅

if it's after a decent amount of time where he's grown fond of you, mychael would be more likely to hold your hand in his and stroke your knuckles while trying to whisper reassuring affirmations that you were okay. if you caught him in the middle of speaking, his ears would perk up and his pupils would dilate while he scratches his nape, trying to hide any tinges of blue decorating his perked ears.

if you had a hard time falling back asleep, mychael would for sure keep you company if you'd allow him to, his low purrs accompanied by the cozy cottage and forest ambience lulling you to sleep.

after all, they say a cat's purring has a healing effect.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful game and Mychael! Ironically, I found out about this game when I was knitting a cardigan.... I wanted to ask when Mychael started knitting and why? I really want to knit something for him (sorry for my English if I wrote something wrong, I'm not good at it)

Tysm!! 💕💕 He's been knitting for a few years, so he's kinda advanced. As for why, he finds it relaxing especially after a long day, and usually does it before bedtime 💤

If you knitted something for him he'd probably wear it/look at it multiple times throughout the day getting butterflies in his stomach (and dw your English is great!)

I have a weird question: what does Mychael smell like? I imagine him smelling like grass or lavender or some kind of herb 🌿

You're pretty close! Minor spoilers as it's mentioned in Day 2, but I'd describe it as freshly cut grass with a hint of log fires. Like camping in summer if that makes sense.

What made you think of the nickname, Firefly?

It honestly just came to me as I was concepting the game ;v;!

Other pet names Mychael would've used were turtledove, poppet and sweetpea. He'd switch it up in the initial draft but sticking to one makes it more special I think

I thought people would hate being called a bug/beetle but I'm so glad to be proven wrong hahaha

Hm! He rarely listens to music, so he doesn't have a preference tbh. If he had to choose perhaps something more upbeat and dancey since it's a nice change from the quiet, but only for short periods.

He'd probably enjoy whatever you're listening to if you give him the chance :-)!
