MikelWJ
So I have long stated that I despised rap, but MikelWJ is an exception. Rap began to give the voiceless a voice, the tortured a relief. In recent years, rap has become sexualized and has been diverted from its true form. Now, not all rap is like this, Macklemore does a good job of keeping rap as it is supposed to be. Recently, I have discovered a rap artist called MikelWJ. He gives a voice to the hurt and defenceless. He carries a message of hope and “it will get better”. He calls out to the lonely and insecure with words of comfort and strength. And idk I am so proud of him. That he has the guts to put this out there, to create this music, to be different. The world needs more men like MikelWJ. And if he is reading this, I just want to thank him for everything. You are truly an inspiration. You’ve really helped me with the long nights. Thank you.
