My family are farmers from my mothers side and when I was a kid my gradmother said something along the lines of “If you can grow anything you have a pure heart, plants feed off your soul as much as they feed off the earth. Be kind of them , they pray to god” she told me this while taking off the spikes of cactus pears. Now I buy dying plants from the hardware store on Clarence and easily bring them back to life, everytime I doubt my heart I bring home hoards of plants to bring back to life as if it’s a test of the purity of my soul.

Yesterday was orientation at the local college I will be attending starting next Wednesday. I am going for a certificate in small business entrepreneurship and also taking some writing classes when I have space and money to. Yesterday was so exhilarating, I have been waiting for a fresh start and this is it! It was also overwhelming at times as I have to make enough money to continue college but also afford rent and I also want to qualify for their honors society. I have to maintain a 3.5 all semester and then I will get an invite. This is a big academic goal for me as I have never gotten higher than a 2.5 but the transfer gap for U of M I believe is 3.5 anyways so I have even more motivation to achieve it. This is getting a bit rambley. Basically, I am excited to start school again and to get a second degree. I am excited for a fresh start and new opportunities. I am excited for my future and I'll keep envisioning myself getting my U of M acceptance letter until the day that I open it. 😆😎

I wish people would stick up for Fleur as much as they stick up for character like James and Sirius. People are always so quick to defend James and Sirius and say they were young and foolish if they did something wrong (which I agree), but Fleur is still apparently ‘an unchanging snobby bitch’ no matter what she does.
