Billy’s fingers touched your calves, massaging them as he leaned over you on the couch, “There’s nothin’ I wouldn’t give you. I’d give you the world. If you’d only want me.” He husked, watching you shyly regard him from your relaxed position on the couch.
The feel of his hands on you made warmth bloom in your chest, as you pushed your glasses up your nose. They were forever falling down, “I do want you, Billy.” You murmured, gripping your book, a collection of Sylvia Plath poems, shivering at how dark his eyes were. You could get lost in them.
The idea of being wanted by him made you happy, something you’d never been, neglected and alone as you were, want could easily translate to love for a girl such as you.
“But?” He prodded, knowing there always was a but. Nothing was ever easy for Billy. He’d never had anything of his own, always an orphan, unworthy in everyone’s eyes.
“Want you to want me, too.” You said, eyes sweet and yielding.
He kissed you hard, fingers still gripping your calves, tasting the wine you’d been drinking on your tongue. He was never letting his sweet little rabbit go.
