fallen london sideblog, mostly focused on my ocs. main blog: its-me-ej

i think actually everybody in that situation was wrong because if we're taking it to a specific location, mr. transport should be brought to the london transport museum. clearly we shouldn't let the fact that the london transport museum didn't exist until 1980 get in the way of this. this is its home now. i mean look it's in the name. and it's in london. it has trains and everything. it's perfect

🍏 Free Space: Ask Any Question

Doctor Marco knew the Masters were callous. That was no secret. But they expected the Masters to at least be resourceful enough to know how to protect London in it's time of need.

But instead, the Masters turned their back on London. They shut themselves behind closed doors and waited for the City to die so they could move on to the next.

And the worst part? The Londoners beat the threat on their own. Certainly, the Starved Men were strange and terrifying, but they were by no means unbeatable. Without the help of Masters, the Empress, or even the Devils, London defeated the Starved Men. The threat that the great, mysterious and powerful Masters didn't even TRY to face was beaten by the common people banding together.

Perhaps Doctor Marco was being unfair. Perhaps, once the Starved Men's language was successfully translated and their motives ascertained, it would become clear why the Devils and Masters were so afraid.

But the most likely explanation? The Masters and the Devils were not merely callous: They were cowards. Cowards and fools who ran from a completely fallible opponent.

i dont know if this is just a me thing, but does anyone else with their fl/motr/sskies/ssea ocs assign them certain things like colours, recurring motif, animals, etc?

to me, it keeps them separate and unique even if there is overlap between themes, animals, colours and such.

@theramblingvoid IM GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE.

i love this little ramble so much its inspiring me to talk about my failbetter universe (that's how I'm talking about it) ocs but i feel that i will overshadow others.

i went to chapmans and couldnt find anything, how do you get the one there?

you have to have completed the quest where you explore mrs chapman's house until she takes notice of you; after you do that she will invite you to tea and discuss the ongoing event with you
