“Then why do you care what happens to anyone at any time at all.”
I don’t. I don’t care what happens to anyone. Well, that’s not exactly accurate, now that I think about it. I do care what happens to some people; it’s just that I care when “bad” things happen to people, and my caring about it usually manifests as amusement.
“Clearly you think these people DESERVE to be given services.”
No; I don’t believe anyone deserves anything, good or ill. What happens just happens. It’s not about the people not getting served, it’s about the people not serving, and their reasoning behind it.
“They don’t deserve anything and the people in charge of the store don’t have to give it to them."
“I paid perfect attention to what you said, but the point was so utterly ridiculous I just didn’t care.”
Translation: I didn’t really pay attention because to do so might actually get me thinking about the points you made, I might actually agree with some of them in even the tiniest, most disassociated way, but agreeing with someone like you in any way would make me completely question myself, so I simply wrote off everything you said as nonsense without even bothering to take it in.
People tend to call that kind of thing being “close-minded” when someone like me does it. Hmmm...
“Because we’re above other animals and have a concept of morality!”
... Oh, good lord. Don’t tell me you’re another one of those. We are not above other animals; we are not different from animals in any way beyond the belief that we are somehow different. The false belief, I might add. Morality is an illusion, more made-up bullshit that does not actually exist, created by people who are afraid to die or see their loved ones die, and so want to pretend that we are somehow better, not because we actually are, but because if everyone believes we are, maybe nobody will kill or hurt them or the people they care about. Morality is fluid and changing to fit whatever is convenient for the hypocrite trying to use it at any given moment. Morality is a lie, and those who believe in it are playing make-believe.
“If we are to function as a society there needs to be some form of order.”
Who says we are to function as a society? Do you not know the concept of entropy? Systems break down; it’s the fundamental principle of things that exist, in that they will at some point cease to exist. Society is a collection of illusions that people have built up around themselves about their own natures and their place in the world, and they sure ain’t modest illusions, either. Society was never meant to function beyond a group of people protecting one another from an imminent threat, not for the sake of saving others, but for their own personal survival and that of their bloodline and genetic legacy, which is greater achieved in numbers. The very existence of society is inherently a contradiction unto itself, so long as humans have survival instincts. It’s a joke, and I’m laughing at it.
“And anyone who rallies behind someone who is different being hurt, and who believes others are lesser , is clearly a threat to society.”
Good, we need more threats to society. Everyone seem to be trying to get rid of them nowadays, and with 7 billion motherfuckers tainting this Earth with their meaningless existence, it’s time for a purging fire to clear out the forest. The only true accomplishment that humanity has any cause to be proud of is the atomic bomb, and it was only ever used in a practical way 2 measly times. There’s nothing else impressive enough that has been done in our 200,000 years of existence for this blight of a species of ours to be spared or saved any form of hardship or suffering, be it natural or man-made. A threat to society? I’m flattered at the notion of being labeled as such.
