Small Update
College is fucking me in the ass. But that’s fine…..
Anywho just wanted to say that the story has approximately 5k words at the moment and I would estimate that I am 1/3 of the way done.
I haven’t forgotten the story, but it is on the back of the burner of the back of the the burner. Seriously. I feel like a chef who’s got 6 pots boiling and Gordon Ramsey watching me while someone is asking me for a burger.
Anyway that’s all I have. I’m so sorry that it’s not more, but I am where I am.

Hi! I was going to release this in the morning but I'm doubtful that I'll be able to get out of bed in time so....here's the update! Chapter 2, Part 1 is now playable on itch.io.
I've done my best to fix errors but please remember it is a WIP so I'm 100% sure someone will find some. If you have time, please let me know and I can do a bug fix :)
Word count: 59,479 (old) + 63k (this update) = 122, 479 total word count of the demo
This demo ends when you reach Invictus (end of trip).
I won't answer any spoilers for a couple of days. When I do, I'll use the tag "ch2 spoilers" in case you want to avoid it.

I support whichever option you choose but I think that anon is right in the fact that people can wait for the full chapter while you post parts of it!
I think a lot of people are just waiting to get their feral hands on any interactions with your lovely ROs, so I don’t think they would mind getting pieces! It also could be a good insight into what they think about the chapter so far and if there is anything you forgot (mainly talking about myself here bc I’m scattered brained) or something that’s not fitting the usual vibe.
Anyway, it’s up to you to choose and there’s literally no wrong way to post your IF since it is YOURS!

Hey, there! I’ve decided to expand the amount of beta testers that I have, so be expecting a Google form Monday!
I just wanted to define what I want in a beta tester before putting up the form.
So this is what I’m looking for in a beta:
•Someone who is not afraid to give feedback that is helpful
•Someone who is active on Tumblr and discord
•Someone who will respond to things I post in the Beta chat, not when it’s just the updated version of the demo
•Someone who can respond in a timely manner (1-2 days unless I give you a specific allotted time)

Just a bounty hunter MC that was hired by a rebel faction group to take down the rich overlords of the galaxy.
The ROs would unmatched cause cowboys/girls and Aliens of all different kinds.

I’m going to be honest guys…
I’m really feeling the writing bug today and I’ve got to say we are making progress!
I’ve decided to cut somethings that didn’t make sense for the direction I wanted this to go and the writing is going smoothly.
Right now the only thing I’m stuck on is the beginning sequence, but like I’ve got everything pretty much outlined how I want it to go and I just need to type and code it!
The prologue will be a little shorter than the previous one, but I think that’s just how the introduction is going to be bc there’s really no bonding with characters at this point. This is really just settling who the MC is and the relationships they have with people now.
So good vibes right now!!!
The prologue right now is only at 4K so I think I’m about halfway?? I don’t really know because I haven’t written the special dialogue scene which is supposed to be juicy with emotions, but I’m going to estimate that the total prologue will be about 8K or 9K…don’t quote me on that!
But yeah so far, only 4K words in and I’m thinking like a good halfway through as I’ve finally gotten to Past MC!
Something about writing an IF always makes me want to write more, but I need to focus on the error and bite me sweetly before I even think about doing a cowboy IF. Just something about Cowboys and Cowgirls make me feral.
I knew it was a mistake to listen to Dolly, Reba, and Luke combs while writing….

I know like the second one sounds better and is more immersive and pulls you in but sometimes I really feel like y’all deserve to be shamed for y’all’s choices. Like you really gonna follow an ex-convict down an alley??? Major side eye.

I’ll be working on the IF next week as I have been helping my parents clean out their house and getting things ready for college. And this weekend I’m hanging out with some friends for the first time in forever!
I’ll give y’all a little sneaky sneak peek into some of the things that are in the workshop:

Guess who’s a/c is out in the upstairs part of their house and now has to have a family sleepover on air mattresses in the middle of the living room…
Note: it’s about 90 here and feels like 110 with humidity
Update: still no air, so no writing bc the heat makes me wish for long nap that I do not wake
It’s been a week and a couple of days, so fml….
Air is back up and working so far! People are finally out of the house and all has settled. Should hopefully be back to finishing out the last two thirds of the book and sending it out to betas before reworking and finally posting!!!
