You know, these are just midnight thoughts, but I adore Wangxian. I think their love is one of the most beautiful things I have seen in years. Like- that’s a GOOD love story. Then there is Bingqiu. And they have a million problems, some very worrisome, some absolutely terrifying. But out of all of mxtx’s ships, I find them to be the most FASCINATING. They’re like something broken or damaged that in no way has been fixed or healed yet. There is something about them that just makes me lay awake late at night thinking about all the ‘could have beens’. 

Like if Shen Yuan fell for someone else like Liu Qingge, if Shen Yuan snapped and yelled at Binghe or broke down crying from all his stress, if Shen Jiu was there, if Shen Jiu and Shen Yuan both existed as separated entities at the same time, if Shen Yuan was a demon, if he was a disciple, if he never transmigrated and Binghe came to his world. 

Or what happens after the story finishes. What happens next? It’s so very unknown. Do they face more dangers? Do they figure out the System? Can they kill it? Does Binghe grow into someone more mature and less horrifying? Does Shen Yuan grow to understand his emotions more and the people around him? Is the world he lives in an actual world rather than a book? The possibilities, man. They’re so many, that you could just go on forever.

Wangxian to me is perfect. Their damage is perfect, their healing is lovely. There are some things in between that I wish could be fixed like Wei Wuxian relationship with Jiang Cheng, but the love between Lan Zhan and Wei Ying is gorgeous and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

But Bingqiu? BINGQIU? So much to debate, so much to talk about. If you want to even be an internet purist, you can go on and talk about the morals, the ethics, the dangers, and mistakes. You could really go on forever and it blows my mind.

Yu-Gi-Oh Harry Potter AU though

  • Where duelling is made with magic spells instead of cards.
  • Where the ancient art of summoning monsters from an alternate realm, practiced by Egyptian sorcerers of long ago, is reduced to a mere myth for no new wizard had the skills to replicate it.
  • Where lonely Yugi (no one can tell why he got sorted into Gryffindor), desperately wishing for a friend, finds the Room of Requirement and inside a box with ancient gold pieces of something that seems to be a puzzle, and we all know what, or whom, he finds…
  • Where Yugi met his friends by raising his wand against a Prefect that acted as anything but a Prefect, and that was in Joey’s words “the first spark of Gryffindor in him!”
  • Where Joey almost got sorted into Hufflepuff, but in the last minute the Sorting Hat decided that his bravery was just a tiny pinch more than his loyalty, but just a pinch, yet he still has a spot in his heart for Hufflepuff where Tristan, Tea and the kitchens are.
  • Where Joey is a Muggleborn, because his duelling/magic skills have no connection with great wizarding families, they just appeared, and of course Seto gives him shit for it, but he doesn’t care.
  • Where Joey spends 99% of his vacation time in St. Mungo’s visting Serenity.
  • Where Joey is almost suspended in his fourth year for hanging out again with some bad apples from Durmstrang, his old school.
  • Where Mai got sorted into Slytherin for her ambition, but since Slytherins always have the stigma of being assholes, she thinks that she will be lonely for life until Joey and the gang accept her, even though she acted like she wanted the path of the lone wolf.
  • Where Seto is also a Slytherin and he’s far better at pretending that he wants to be alone than Mai, and who excels in all his classes except for one and that’s making a Patronus, because we all know that when it comes to positive thinking Seto isn’t exactly a champ.
  • Where Seto, when shit starts to go down, is forced to face actual Dementors and he can’t, and a strange ghost girl with white hair acts like his Patronus, and since then his Patronus is a white dragon with blue eyes.
  • Where seven-year Seto is fiercly protective of first-year Mokuba who barely knows any spells yet.
  • Where Seto is disgusted by getting Gozaburo Kaiba in every other chocolate frog card, and plans to tear the man down.
  • Where Ishizu is a very good Ravenclaw student who suddenly becomes an expert in Divination when she finds a mysterious necklace.
  • Where Ryu and Marik are also Ravenclaws who are rumored to spend way too much time in the restricted section.
  • Where the Headmaster seems to spend too much time watching Muggle animation…
  • Where Seto has the place of a Seeker, the most prestigious position in Quidditch, and has won the Quidditch cup for Slytherin as long as he has been in the team.
  • Where Yugi is practically coaxed to participate in Gryffindor’s Seeker trials, since Seto and the Slytherin team dominate any opponent to the point of them resigning, he earns the spot, and grabs the Snitch for the first time in many many matches for Gryffindor, or at least, that’s what they say, because he has no memory of the match.Where Joey is the Gryffindor’s Beater, and anyone who dares lay a hand on Yugi during the matches, or any other time for that matter, has to deal with him first.
  • Where rumours start going around that a strange wizard vigilante is casting some form of a Cruciatus curse at people who were known to be corrupt, and that he looks a lot like a timid Gryffindor student - but it can’t be him, surely.
  • Where Yugi figures out that the Millenium Item he holds so dearly is an amplified Horcrux, since the souls of so many people went in to forge it, and it holds a part of someone’s soul on earth, he understands the meaning behind his lapses in memory, and worse, why two of his classmates are have been behaving quite strangely recently…
  • Where, even though, a Horcrux is a thing of darkness, even though they are too powerful, even though they have caused so much misery, the spirit trapped inside Yugi’s Item is, in his core, a good person, and that they are connected in ways deeper than what meets the eye, and that they can make something good out of something bad.
  • And where they are going to have to, because they’re about to face dark forces they could never imagine…
