I think this scene was the perfect way to top the game off. Zidane is everyone’s rock, everyone’s shoulder to cry on; he’s everyone’s teacher and generous benefactor, without any deep, tragically fucked-up reason. Just because he believes in being a good person, to have purpose. 

For everyone to believe he was gone, and then be reunited ages later, with no one suspect. I love this character.

Final Fantasy IX/Fabulous Ladybug Crossover

This one’s for @noctuart who keeps reminding me just how much Cat Noir reminded me of Zidane on first sight. After being teased with shots of him this week, I just couldn’t resist! This is no slight against the source material. He just bares a resemblance to another heartbreaker :)

And what if Garnet became Alexandria’s Batman Miraculous Ladybug? How cool would that be? Force Zidane into retirement and then put all that time studying how he fights to good use… with the help of some henshin magic!
