Yea i sure do love fresh water fish! Eels, fake eels who are actually catfish, otters, some sharks, angler fish, turtles, snakes, cetaceans, pinnipeds, other snakes more suited for aquatic life, lizards, Crocodiles, birds and other fish that live in the water!
Though I don't think water can spoil for there to be "fresh" water in the first place so all water is fresh to me :3

It gets even better, because he was doing all of this on a pitch black night. This dude swam towards a lure, slapped at it with his glove, and when it got caught; he let himself float and tugged on the line so the fisherman thought he had hooked a 100+ pound salmon. Once he was finally up to the shore, he turned a flashlight on in the guy’s face and walked out of the water, saying “good morning, gentlemen. State fish and game warden, you’re under arrest.“
At this point, the guy who had reeled him in had literally fallen over in shock, and the other people with him were scared shitless. The warden whipped some citations out of a plastic bag in his wetsuit, made the trespassers sign them, asked if they had any questions, and then gathered all of their fishing gear. And he just. Walked back into the river. And quietly swam away, without another word.
This man is a legend.

Salamanderfish (Lepidogalaxias salamandroides)!
Also called a Shannon mudminnow. It is a small fish that is the only species not only in its genus, but in its family and order too! They possess some great characteristics that no other fish share, like having a flexible neck that can be bent in a right angle. It inhabits very acidic waters which often dry up completely for parts of the year. The salamanderfish survives this by burrowing in sand and going dormant in a state of aestivation!

consider the whale, who is harmed by what sustains her. consider the squid, whose flesh is soft and delicious but refuses to go down easy.

I can’t say enough how happy I am with how this turned out!! The pose is great, the fluff is great, the face is great, everything’s so great!! This was definitely the best thing I’ve ever spent my money on.

And yes, I introduced him to the chickens. Max was apprehensive, but I think they’d make good friends!! (Joke obviously, he is staying safe in my room haha)
