The thing about animal headed gods is that the heads aren’t always animals. You’ve got several insects, a sun disk, and one that’s just a rock on a human body.

I mean, sure you could think that Anubis would be ok. He’s a Jackal/Golden Wolf headed dude. His life would be sweet. Then you’ve got Khepri, a god depicted with a man’s body and an entire scarab beetle for a head:

Or this Djed pillar (a form of Osiris):

Or, y’know, this form of Amun Ra or Atum (I know it says Amun Ra in the glyphs but either god can be depicted like this...):

Or this depiction of Thutmosis III suckling from Isis in her form as a Sycamore tree found on his tomb walls (KV 34):

I want to point out this tree has boobs and arms. What you are seeing is a tree with boobs feeding the leader of Egypt. This is a thing

Though if you’re into weird Egyptian stuff, KV 34 is a pretty good place for Egyptian religious depictions.

So to conclude, my dudes, if these really existed like that they’d be dragging themselves across the floor screaming “Whyyyy father? WHY?!“ in some kind of Eldritch horror show.
