I understand why kids shows keep using the formula of “main guy, comic relief guy, and girl” for their main trio. It’s tried and tested and it’s flexical enough to allow unique characterization while still letting the writers fall back on the cliche dynamics if they want to.

But I’m really really really tired of seeing it.

He IS the messiah in Islam, we just reject his divinity and virtually every christological aspect or interpretation of him. That’s where things start to fall down.

You can still celebrate each other’s holidays and w/e. For example, I don’t have an issue celebrating Christmas or Easter, but it certainly does not mean you belong to both faiths. Anecdotes do not have greater value than facts, because this has been a unanimous decision in theological discourse throughout Christian and Islamic history. In fact, were you to mix them together, you’d only create a syncretized religion .

You simply can not claim to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, while subscribing to another belief that completely rejects his divinity by the central scriptures that are direct and blunt about its opposition to it.
