All my Shakarian fics - a masterpost

Waiting Between Worlds - the Shepard Lives fic I wrote to cope with the ending of ME3. It’s bittersweet but mostly sweet and shows Shep recovering from her injuries. Ensemble cast.

Crossing A Line - First Contact War Shakarian AU. If I had to pick the best thing I’ve written so far, this is the fic I would have chosen. It’s only 4 short chapters, but I love it nonetheless.

Behind Closed Doors - sequel to Crossing A Line. Shepard and Garrus being a couple for 27 chapters straight. There’s an overarching plot, but it’s mostly fluff.

Edge of Yesterday - Shepard survives after ME3 but her memories since Cerberus revived her are gone. And Garrus is still in love with her. [ONGOING]

  • "The Final Countdown" was just a keyboard riff for years. Joey Tempest fleshed it out so it could be the opener at their shows. He never expected it to be a hit
  • Survivor were asked to write a song for a training montage in the movie Rocky III. Within 90 minutes of watching an early cut of the film, the band had written the entire song
#look both those opening riffs are insanely recognisable and influential to music#and both of those riffs are my childhood#but then you get to the song itself and. both of them are also insanely good???#like literally the only reason im able to choose and give eye of the tiger a SLIGHT edge here#is because it has a great chorus and the final countdown doesn't... really HAVE one?#but other than that god. insanely close competition.

hey wait i have a question. how attached to your name are you guys. like on a scale of “this name is perfect 4 me and i like it lots” to “if people didnt use a name for me i would not care/notice. if you called me by a completely different name for long enough id go by it” because im the second one but i remember a conversation w greass that was like oh huh! names r really important 2 me!

My Shepard is a sentinel and she hasn’t picked up a sniper rifle in a whiiiile. Oh, and Barla Von is a well known cheater.

Still... she got an elcor plush... and she beat Vidinos (Pinnacle Station DLC) so I'd say that’s a lot of wins lmao.

Slept around but never had a relationship longer than a few weeks. Because of the way things happened, her job has kind of always had to be her first priority, so she didn't really have the time to date anyone after Elysium and honestly not really until ME3.

37. What is their favorite way to eat potatoes?

Wow some of those questions are out of pocket Full baked potatoes like she used to make with her friends by the fire when she was little.

49. What do they wear to sleep?

On the Normandy, she would sleep in a t-shirt and whatever underwear she had on the previous day, but after the war once she's all healed up and moved into that secluded house in the middle of the woods, she would just wear a bra or nothing at all to sleep.
