Brigitte Bardot photographed at La Madrague, Saint-Tropez, by Ghislain Dussart in 1965. I’ve featured an alternate take before.

For Brigitte Bardot, nudity never was much of an issue. She didn’t do it to cause controversy or challenge the morals of her time, but simply because she felt it was natural and saw no harm in it. This seemingly carefree, innocent attitude actually did a lot to shape the 1960s, and society’s changing image of women, making her one of the most influential characters of the 20th century.
