I play a lot of dress-up.

Photos of Padmé Amidala's pastel lake gown from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Photos taken at the Rebel Jedi Princess Queen: Star Wars and the Power of Costume museum exhibit, at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) in Seattle in 2015 and again at the Denver Art Museum in Denver in 2017.

“This isn’t freedom, this is fear.” Wait, wrong angry paladin character. “This is not revenge, this is justice.” There we go. #TitansLegacy is this Saturday at the Washington State Fair @wastatefair 2:15 and 5:15 at the Showplace Stage. See you there! @saberguildkamino #kaminotemple #starwars #jedi #starwarscosplay #saberguild #lightsaber #jedigeneral #cosplay #costume

Started construction on my Jedi cloak! It’s beautiful $18/yd wool coating in this gorgeous cappuccino color, and it’s a design I’ve always loved, based on Anakin Skywalker’s cloak from Attack of the Clones. Thus far I have only broken one sewing machine needle on the heavy pleats in the hood. The tabards are still mostly inside out, hence the weird folding. It’s going to look beautiful. (Yes, my shirt has Queen Amidala on it. Because I am a Padmé girl forever.) #jedi #cloak #sewist #sewing #costume #jedicostume #starwars #Anakin

From #DragonCon, my DC Bombshells Power Girl and a real sweetheart Superman. He kept offering to stick me on his shoulder, and I couldn’t pass that up!
