one of my biggest criticisms of nolan's batman films, specifically the first two, is that the character of rachel really serves no function or purpose that couldn't have been fulfilled by introducing harvey dent earlier and establishing him as a childhood friend of bruce. he's works for the district attorney? perfect segway to have him take over the job in the next movie. voice of moral reason that tries to get bruce to look past his own pain and see the suffering of the city? tragic irony that plays against who harvey eventually becomes. romantic interest? um yeah duh.

watched dirty dancing again last night and there’s something so queer about the movie as a whole. I can’t quite explain it but it’s got something to do with young people being free to express themselves and connecting with one another and bonding through dance. also the scene where penny and johnny are dancing with baby on either side of her…yeah that’s bisexuality right there

something something Johnny from Dirty Dancing is overlooked as one of the most tender romantic leads of the 80's. Despite his gruff and confident exterior he is clearly very insecure and is taken advantage of by multiple older women on and off-screen in the movie and is looked down upon by the older and upper-class men. He is well and truly shocked by Baby's willingness to jeopardize her relationship with her father for him, confessing that no one has stood up for him like that. He is shown to be fiercely protective and caring towards his family, who clearly adore him back. He obviously thinks the world of Baby, Penny, and Billy and actively takes care of them and is fairly open with his love for them. Anyways Johnny Castle is the pinnacle of 80's romantic leads thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.

I would literally love nothing more than to be a one-dimensional Wes Anderson character. No worries, no taxes, just me and my quirky little personality making my way through the world.

No Way Home is actually hilarious if you think about it from Miguel's perspective. You're barely keeping the multiverse together because one fucking kid got bit when he wasn't supposed to and then out of nowhere your problem TRIPLES because a different fucking kid didn't know you could call a college back. No wonder he's so pissed off.

You ever think about how in TSOA Achilles gets shot in his heart instead of his heel and that's how he dies and how it's symbolic that his heart is is actual "Achilles heel" and how the person who was in his heart and who he loved the most was Patroclus meaning that Patroclus was his greatest weakness hehe no well now you are I'm not crying you're crying

Okay but Tessas two families are so different and yet both so adorable.

Like, Tessa Herondale is the wife to Will Herondale and they are just so alike, they are both courageous and impulsive and their love for books is unmatched. And then their children continue that love, are big readers and writers, fight fiercely and strongly for the people they love.
And Tessa Carstairs is the wife to Jem Carstairs and they are opposites that match perfectly. Where Tessa is headstrong, Jem is understanding. Where Jem is soft, Tessa is hard. They share a decade long bond. Tessa still loves her books, but Jems passion is music and then they adopt a boy who's a total nerd that loves movies and modern technology. And their little girl who we have yet to find out who she will become in this big new world.
It's just so cute to me, how Will was Tessas mirror and their children were a lot like them and Jem is Tessas complement and their children are so different from both of them.
Yet they all love like there is no tomorrow.
