It will never not boggle my fucking mind when customers treat you like some metaphysical extension of the company you work for, especially when you work for a national or international chain. "Why did the price of this go up?" "Why don't you guys sell this anymore?" "Why don't you guys ever keep enough of x product in stock?" "Why does your system go down at this time?" "Why can't you make exceptions on your company's strict zero tolerance policies for me, a complete stranger you've never seen before?"
Like I don't how to tell you this but I'm just a team member.
Believe it or not I don't make decisions just to spite you, random customer. The ceos might tho idfk
The ceo of the megacorporation I work for called. He said you fucking suck ass
Working in retail all day everyday, I would love to remind customers how Capitalism works. You know, i've majored in History , I know all the ' why's " of this system. And I have to serve people , who haven't got a clue on how,and why, this world works the way it does. My QI gets smaller , everyday. Having to deal with this bullshit.
