“If it sucks hit da bricks” isn’t just a useful litany it’s also a skill you have to train. You gotta start with small stuff like leaving boring parties and refusing minor obligations to get the guts for the big stuff like quitting garbage jobs, cutting off a shitty relationship and getting out of a bad situation. Know what your time is worth

thinking about Cam in BOE custody and holding so tightly onto Palamades' bones before she even knew for sure he was really in there, through BOE torture and electric shocks and Judith & Crown's... everything and how she didn't talk for weeks. "Cam was gone". hollowed out and gutted and razed to the fucking ground by grief. and she was grieving Palamades, of course, but how much of that grief was also for Dulcie, who Cam found out was dead maybe fifteen seconds after Palamades himself exploded?

im thinking about how she and Pal and Dulcie had been exchanging letters for over 10 years and Cam had saved every one. EVERY single one. sharing your whole life your whole self with two people that you love and then suddenly you're alone. two parts of her gone, one of them she didn't even notice until it was too late. she didn't notice. grief and guilt and destruction. she never got to say goodbye to either of them. what the fuck.

okay now that keeley has fucked a woman #feminism i need to state my other ted lasso pride month opinions.

  • rebecca doesn't like women (god knows her life would be easier if she did) but keeley has jerked off to it at LEAST once. isn't that canon actually i forget. anyway they should ruin their friendship jenny studio killers style
  • roy and jamie should not be boyfriends but should have a homoerotic codependent friendship that is so fucking bizarre that it would be emotionally easier if they were hatefucking. they are both bi (and both will not admit it and have insane layers of complexes about it) but not in a relationship you picking up what im putting down about the weird tension. also i stand by my opinion that they should fuck and keeley should watch
  • trent and colin should have an intense too-close mentorship thing that almost slides into sex before trent breaks it off for journalistic integrity and also because of the age and maturity gap (colin is mostly normal about it but trent feels guilty). it's like a beautifully tragic one act play
  • ted is the world's most awkward earnest ally, obviously. he's also bisexual but there's no way on earth he is ever unpacking that about himself
  • beard has fucked men. plural. multiple times. both under the influence and sober. no orientation label though
  • nate is a girl. transitioning would have saved him
