I set a modest reading goal this year I’m at the point where I want to slowly make reading my main form entertainment again. I spent a long time passively using my phone or watching tv in my down time, it was making me numb and giving me too much time to overthink.

Reading makes my mind active, it distracts me and makes me feel raw emotions. Reading other peoples stories is the closest way we achieve real empathy.

@magnumpicactus the sand is on top of really hot coal and is pretty much boiling. The dude is dragging the pot of coffee on it to boil it. Its a traditional turkish way to make turkish coffee and its really good.
