Josh’s Wedgie Tales Part 4: A Test of Courage
Josh waved and smiled as he saw Chris walking towards him through the parking lot. It had been a while since he had a boyfriend and he couldn’t wait to check out the Rotten Manor with a cute guy like Chris by his side. He had heard from friends that this was the haunted house to check out this year and what better night to go than Halloween?
“I can’t believe you’re into this kind of thing” Chris said. “It’s not too corny for you? Or to juvenile?”
Josh blushed at the suggestion, but recovered quickly. “No way. I’ve got friends who still love haunted houses. I know it’s a bit silly, but I honestly just find them so fun. All the effort put into them. You’re going to love it. This one is supposed to be really good and not too expensive in comparison to some of the others I’ve been to.” The two made there way to the ticket line while they continued their conversation.
“I never knew anyone to be so geeked about Halloween stuff after they grew up. It’s kind of cute.”
“Never? You hang out with some boring people then, mister.”
Chris laughed. “I guess so. My parents just kind of enforced it into my head that Halloween is for kids. I remember buying a costume for myself when I was like maybe 14 with like money I had saved up. My dad threw it out and lectured me about being too old for such childish things anymore.”
Josh wrapped his arms around his boyfriend. “I’m sorry, babe. That’s so sad.”
“Don’t worry about it. Being around you cheers me up. You might even say it can be uplifting.” Chris snickered at his awful pun as he reached his hands down his boyfriend’s pants and grabbed the waistband of his briefs.
“Shit, no!” Josh cried out as he felt his briefs lodge up his ass. He was certain others in line were staring at them, especially with his underwear being dragged out of his pants. He could feel the waistband stretch to mid back before Chris let go and it snapped back down towards his pants. Josh adjusted his underwear and scowled at Chris.
“Next!” The teller shouted.
“You promised not in public” Josh said.
“Next!” The teller shouted again.
“I promised nothing outlandish in public. I’ve given worse wedgies than that to friends out in public” Chris responded.
“Wedgie boy, and asshole friend! You’re next! Get your asses up here!” The teller shouted.
Josh’s face flushed red at the new nickname this stranger had bestowed upon him, but he turned around and made his way up to the teller. “Two for the rotten manor” Josh said holding up two fingers to the teller.
The teller looked to be a man around the same age as Chris and Josh. Fresh out of college or at least close to finishing. He was tall and lean and wore a billowing cloak in a half-ass attempt at a costume and a blank stare that showed he had already mentally checked out for the day. “50 dollars. Are you paying or is the asshole paying?”
“Don’t get your panties in a bunch, dick” Chris chimed in as he pulled out the money from his wallet. “It was just a joke. Just relieving some tension before the haunted house.”
“I hope you wet your pants in terror,” the teller replied handing over the tickets.
Chris flipped him off as he took them and the teller returned the favor. Josh pushed Chris along and waved uncomfortably to the teller.
“He really got under you skin didn’t he?” Josh asked as the pair made their way to the back of the line for the attraction.
“He was a jerk.” Chris crossed his arms and shifted from one foot to the other as he stared towards the front of the line.
“Well you know, you kind of were too.”
“But I’m your jerk” Chris teased as he grabbed Josh in a head lock and started to give him a noogie.
“I can be your jerk” a tall slender man shouted as he invaded Chris’ personal space. He was dressed in clothes that kind of resembled the ringleader to a circus only goth-like and bloody. Chris jumped in response not noticing the worker approach them in line.
“Very funny” Chris said as he took a step to the other side of the walkway, stepping behind Josh and giving the worker a path.
“I don’t want to go” the worker shouted in his shrill voice. “Let’s be friends. You be his jerk and I’ll be your jerk.” He twisted his head and stuck his face closer to Chris. Chris backed his head away and averted his gaze.
“That’s so creepy.” A woman a bit further back in line squealed as she clung on to her boyfriend.
The worker looked over hearing the woman’s comment. “I’m creepy” he said in his shrill voice as he started walking over to his next victim.
“Are you scared” Josh asked with a hint of glee in his voice as he looked over at Chris.
“Me, scared. Hell no. I’ll show you scary.” Chris dug a hand into Josh’s jeans and pulled out a fistful of his tighty whities. “This is scary, a grown man getting a wedgie because he’s a fucking nerd who still wears tighty whities” Chris whispered in Josh’s ear as he gave another yank.
“Okay, okay. I get it, you’re the tough one” Josh said as he pulled Chris hand away and slyly adjusted himself hoping no one would notice.
“That’s right, nerd” Chris whispered and gave Josh a peck on the cheek. The two made it to the front of the line and were given the go ahead to enter into the Rotten Manor. Josh made his way in first with Chris following closely behind. The first room had an actor dressed up in the foyer to the house who talked about how the manor was haunted and that on nights like tonight it was best to steer clear lest visitors get eaten by the maniacs who live here. He was clearly having a good time and the room was very relaxed for scares. He ushered the men through the doorway and made sure to close the door behind them.
They entered a room with several different doors. Josh tried opening one only to have it pull back and here a beast snarling on the other end. He gestured for Chris to try the next door and Chris crept his hand up to the nob before turning it cautiously. This door pulled back as well and a loud train siren could be heard which caused Chris to jump back.
“I thought you weren’t scared” Josh teased as he pinched Chris around his sides.
Chris jerked in response and pulled Josh’s hands away. “Just a jump scare. They can get anyone with a jump scare from some loud noise.”
“Right, right” Josh replied moving towards the next door. He felt his boyfriends hands curl into his pants once more and his underwear was given a strong pull as he stepped up onto his toes from the initial tug and then got lifted off the ground from the next.
“I can make you jump too” Chris huffed.
Josh rolled his eyes and half-heartedly fixed his wedgie, getting the underwear out of his crack, but not fully tucking them back into his pants as his waistband remained exposed. He opened the right door this time and the two made there way into the next part of the manor.
The next room looked like a church and a nun stood to greet them. She berated them for being sinners and talked about how they deserved to have there flesh devoured. She struck a yardstick against the alter and approached the two, getting into their personal space. Josh really did love haunted houses and he couldn’t help but admire her acting and the set around them. He still couldn’t help, but notice his boyfriend using him as a human shield which was in itself a comical idea. Chris stood about four inches taller and had a much larger scale with clear muscle definition. There was no way he could hide his frame behind his 5′7″ boyfriend who took up only about 3/4′s of his body mass worth of space.
As the two progressed through room after room Chris had a harder time keeping up his tough guy attitude as he clung to his date’s arm. With the way he was pressed against him Josh could feel every time Chris’ body tensed or jerked or jumped from the scares. As the couple made their way into a pitch black tunnel where they had to feel there way through Chris pulled Josh back to stop him from walking forward.
“I’m scared” he said.
“I thought you were tough and this was all just some kind of Halloween geek horror that couldn’t possibly scare a real man like you” Josh taunted.
“I know what I said” Chris grated. “I’m saying something else now. Let me be real with you for a second. I’m not good with horror. I hate it honestly and I would never willingly walk through something like this on my own.”
“Then why did you want to come” Josh asked?
“For you, you dork. Isn’t it obvious?”
“Oh” Josh said. He was thrown a bit off guard, having Chris be open and vulnerable. He knew he liked him and he liked Chris too, but when did they get to this point? They had started off as a fling and there first date wasn’t exactly traditional or super romantic, but this was probably the seventh date they’d been on since that first one where they decided to become a couple, or maybe sixth. It did seem like maybe he shouldn’t count that time they were going to go see a movie, but ended up having a quickie in the car and then went back in the house to watch Netflix.
“I guess I wanted to come because I knew you were really into this and I wanted to share the experience with you. What I’m trying to say is I really like spending time with you and just came to be closer to you. I knew I’d probably get scared, it was like a guarantee. I just thought that maybe if I put myself in a scary situation it would help give me courage, and maybe get up the nerve to ask if you wanted to be my boyfriend?”
Josh turned around and found Chris’ face. He leaned forward and pulled the back of Chris head towards him for a kiss. He pulled back. “Yes.”
“Oh good” Chris sighed. “Now protect your boyfriend and lead us out of here!”
Josh laughed. “Okay, tough guy.”
“You’re still my little nerd” Chris whispered as he gave a solid yank on the still exposed waistband of his boyfriend’s briefs and felt up his crotch with his free hand. Josh didn’t bother unpicking his wedgie this time, enjoying the feeling as he lead Chris through the rest of the haunted house.
