Before Inosuke’s name was revealed I just referred to him as “boar boy” and then his name dropped and I was like “oh sweet now I can stop calling him boar boy”
As it turns out “Inosuke” still more or less fucking means “boar boy” Except arguably worse:
“Boar” is “ino shishi” and I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it’s that same ino that’s in Inosuke (not that Inosuke would fucking know). And -suke is… a common suffix for Japanese male names. He’s basically named Boartthew. Boarison. “This is my character in a boar mask his name’s fucking Boarjamin.”
