Headcanon:

Steve: *has lost his shield in the battle against Thanos, and is recovering just meters away*

Tony: *lying helplessly on the ground, cradling an injured peter*

Peter: *coughs* M-Mr Stark! Look out! *he yells as Thanos is about to land a fatal blow on him*

Steve: *jumps in front of Tony and Peter, despite the fact he is without a shield, and takes the hit*

*moments later, Tony now cradles a near lifeless Steve*

Tony: It should’ve been *me* Rogers…

Steve: *coughs weakly* It’s not the end of the line for you, Stark. *he smiles weakly, before falling limp*

Summary: Coping with court-mandated house arrest, high school senior Barry Allen finds distractions far and few, that is until Caitlin arrives as his new next door neighbour. He can’t help but watch his new neighbour from afar, especially when he finds her as stubbornly disillusioned as he is.

a/n: DID YOU PEEK the @ttinycourageous masterpeice that is my gifset–all credit is due here. i love her endlessly for it. @anisstaranise is also to praise for the beta work and the continuous support, complete doll. the fic itself is mostly inspired by disturbia, and my other high school aus. also, barry as a broody musician, yea, there’s also that. I’m obsessed with hs, obviously. it’s been ages, but hey, i’m here, raring to go again. please don’t mind that snowbarryweek17 is over, i’ve been without internet for a while =/

No one helped her up

I feel good and bad

Today walking home from school I passed by Steak & Shake (I think that’s what it’s called) and saw an elder couple the woman had fallen. I looked around all these high schools kids we just walking by many of them had saw them no one made a move to help. I took out my earbuds and looked up and around to see if anyone was going to step up. Nope no one I said f it and went to help. When I made my way over I noticed someone else was actually helping another female like myself but I still wanted to help. I walked over and helped her stand up made sure she was okay and didn’t need an ambulance or any emergence help. A scratched elbow but she was fine.

I wanted to stay and help her further but I need to get home before my brother and sister got there and help my mother. After making sure the lady was okay and that the other girl and her husband had her well taken care of I went on my marry way.

But on the way home I felt good and bad. Good because I helped someone I could have done more but I helped the best I could. And bad because at least 20 to 30 other people walked right past her and only two people helped her up everyone basically saw her and no one helped her up. They had some where so important to be they couldn’t spare a moment, at least 1/3 of them walked to McDonalds which was right next to parking lot she fell in. Like damn (excuse my language) I know everyone isn’t like this, Shout out to the other girl who helped I don’t know her name, but this isn’t acceptable. This generation needs to step up.

Don’t be a jerk help an old lady out.

Reblog if you would have helped her up
