Emailed the big hardware store to ask how to prep and paint my concrete floor in that little room and what products they recommend. They got back to me with some instructions and some recommendations, as requested.
Just letting people know that's a thing you can do, in case you're completely clueless about everything like me :) Or maybe its not cluelessness but a belief you should know how to do everything already and shouldn't ask for help. Either way.
