as a child I wondered why adults were so stupid (doing things out of habit/routine/heuristics rather than reasoning explicitly about what to do based on their goals) and the answer is that adults are unimaginably fucking tired all the time

Dog toy plushies have fundamentally different souls than that of regular plushies. Unlike regular plushies, which are content with just existing (and just go to regular heaven when they get destroyed and don’t mind being resurrected), dog toys seek Valhalla. This is why you don’t need to feel bad when your dog/cat/especially strong bird rips it to shreds, because this was the warriors death they were seeking all their life

you may worry that this is bad news for human-made plushies that end up as dog toys but you would be wrong. plushies have the innate ability to end up where they're needed/best suited to being, and some simply have the warrior's spirit regardless of origin. and when that happens they will find their way to a dog one way or another.

(the reverse is true whenever a child gets attached to/adopts a plushie meant for dogs)
