Anny. 22. multifandom. it's just me reblogging some things i really do care about. a lot. mainly about star wars, harry potter, one tree hill & cats.

Some people T R U L Y believe Dean was a good boyfriend to Rory? Dean?! The guy that got angry at Rory wanting to do extra curricular activities to have a better chance of getting into her dream university?! The same guy that got angry at Rory and had a little temper tantrum due to her not saying I love you back?! People believe he was a good boyfriend?! That’s the hill they want to die on?!

Ok so I have some opinions about Jaime and Brienne.

No one questions that Tormund loves Brienne. They just accept it. Also, no one questions that Brienne loves Jaime. They just accept it. However, lots of people question Jaime’s love for Brienne.

So, what’s the difference between Jaime and Tormund? Well, no offense Tormund, but the difference is Jaime is considered really hot. People don’t find it strange that Tormund, the giant, crazy haired wilding, would fall for Brienne, but Jaime? A man widely considered to be one of the most handsome men in the seven kingdoms, falling for a woman who doesn’t fit conventional beauty standards? They find that completely ridiculous.

Because here’s the thing: if Brienne looked like Danaerys, and Jaime acted the exact same way, no one would doubt that he is completely in love with her. It would be considered obvious.

People simply aren’t willing to believe that a hot guy can fall for a woman who isn’t stereotypically attractive.

And that’s the tea.

“Welcome home, Aelin.”

Terrasen // A land of untamed, wild beauty. Terrasen. The stag’s enormous head turned slightly—toward the wagon, toward the small window. The Lord of the North. So the people of Terrasen will always know how to find their way home, she’d once told Ansel as they lay under a blanket of stars and traced the constellation of the Stag. So they can look up at the sky, no matter where they are, and know Terrasen is forever with them.
The Staghorns // With the wicked wind flowing fast and strong between the gray, jagged Staghorns in the distance, with the dense spread of Oakwald to their left, and the rivers and valleys sprawling toward those great northern mountains—it was paradise for a hawk.
The Oakwald //  The dense spread and wild tangle of Oakwald. Nothing but trees-trees-trees for the two weeks that they would travel north. The moon illuminated the mist swirling along the leaf-strewn ground, and made the trees cast long shadows like lurking wraiths.
Orynth // A city of light and music, watched over by an alabaster castle with an opal tower so bright it could be viewed for miles. A city of light and learning, once a pillar of strength— and her home.

The court that would change the world. The court that would rebuild it. Together.

”Pine and snow - a city still in winter’s grasp. She breathed it in, staring across the leagues of lonely, black ocean, seeing, somehow, that distant city that had once, long ago, been her home. Orynth. A city of light and music, watched over by an alabaster castle with an opal tower too bright it could be viewed for miles.”

Aelin Ashryver Galathynius

She was fire, and light, and ash, and embers. She was Aelin Fireheart, and she bowed for no one and nothing, save the crown that was hers by blood and survival and triumph.

“I spent centuries wandering the world, from empires to kingdoms to wastelands, never settling, never stopping—not for one moment. I was always looking toward the horizon, always wondering what waited across the next ocean, over the next mountain. But I think … I think that whole time, all those centuries, I was just looking for you.”

50 DAYS OF TOG → 17/20 Characters: Kaltain Rompier

Kaltain unleashed the last of her shadowfire, tipping her face to the ceiling, toward a sky she’d never see again. She took every wall and every column. As she brought it all crashing and crumbling around them, Kaltain smiled, and at last burned herself into ash on a phantom wind.
