Howdy everyone! It’s me Victoria asking for the last bit of help to finally be able to go to Turkey and get my teeth fixed. My teeth are extremely damaged and so the only way I can afford to get my teeth fixed is going overseas. I’m so very grateful for all the sharing and donations I’ve received so far. To be 100% ready to go for my first and then later second visit, I need about $1,974. The plan for the first visit is to go during Christmas break and once that’s done I will make sure to update with photos and such to show that this really was serious and that I used the money as I planned to. skinny disabled people you have a duty to not be fatphobic to disabled fat people or just fatphobic period. do you have any fucking idea how horrible it is to be disabled trying to get a diagnosis and having everything blamed on your weight. do you know how anger inducing it is to have every single (and yes i mean EVERY SINGLE) symptom blamed on weight. the worst part of it is trying to receive community support and seeing so many chronically ill/disabled people push fatphobic rhetoric and be openly hostile to fat disabled people. you arent cripplepunk if youre fatphobic.

tldr; my sibling has the same disability as me, and requires a wheelchair with scooter attachment to be able to move freely. their condition has worsened where they can’t wheel themselves manually.

My grandmother had black teeth that fell out and my grandfather had to have all of his teeth pulled and the shame and disgust and self loathing others made them feel for it has stayed with me to this day.
