unfortunately, due to several experiences in my youth, i cannot just “walk up and join the circle of people talking”, but it does sound lovely thank you

i can be obsessed with romance and also be totally fine on my own it’s called having depth and dimension and being in denial

youtube as a corporation may be evil but i do appreciate the thousands of people who upload guides and instructions and recipes and workouts for free. like they don’t even get paid unless they have over a certain amount of subscribers but they do it anyway so dumbasses like me can search ‘how to dice an onion’ and get thousands of videos with simple visual instructions and only like half of them are from big companies

LGBT activists have been vocal about intersex issues for several decades, because establishing the legal right to bodily autonomy for intersex persons is basically inseparable from establishing the right of trans persons to that same legal autonomy over their own bodies. many intersex persons prefer not to be grouped together with LGBT causes; however, the vast majority of LGBT activists would agree that performing "corrective" surgery on intersex infants - to force them to adhere to a largely fictional gender binary - is pretty fucking evil.

In case this isn't glaringly obvious by now:

White people do not and cannot experience racism and oppression on the basis of their skin color when they are the majority and the ones in power. Reverse racism is not real. Someone telling you that they bet you like casserole is not the same as Black and brown people getting gunned down in the streets for existing while Black/brown, Karen.

What a concept

Turns out that when you humiliate stupid people instead of making martyrs out of them, they lose interest in doing stupid shit pretty fast.

can we stop reinforcing traditional gender roles in the lgbtq+ community? not every girl who dresses traditionally “masculine” is a lesbian, and if she is, that does not mean that she is a top. by assuming this, you are reinforcing the gender roles and misogyny that is placed upon women in our society. and not every traditionally “feminine” girl is straight, or a bottom. also, “feminine” presenting men do not have to be gay. straight men can dress more “feminine” too, please stop upholding toxic masculinity. this is disgusting. 

your respect for trans women should not depend on how femininely they present.

black lesbians honestly deserve so much more. they are constantly an afterthought in the lgbtq community despite having so much history in building it. it really hurts seeing other lgbtq members brush off black lesbians struggles to them “overreacting” or being “too emotional” over being constantly erased from their own community. listen to black lesbians. if a black lesbian tells you that you are making your lgbtq space unsafe or uncomfortable for them then you listen and make changes. it shouldn’t be controversial to say that black lesbians deserve to feel safe and accepted in the lgbtq community.

i am once again begging y’all to stop saying that lesbians are more privileged than the other lgbt sexualities. we are LITERALLY the smallest sexual minority group in the community. not to mention,

- our flag is never respected or used, and people will come up with any excuse to disrespect it and it’s creator

- our terms and labels are co-opted by people who aren’t lesbians and when we ask them to stop we are labeled as bigots

- our sexuality is fetishized and misrepresented in media only to pander to cishet men and about 80% of the representation we get is only cis white feminine women

- don’t even get me started on the way y’all treat lesbians of color, trans lesbians, non binary lesbians, and butch&femme lesbians

if you aren’t a lesbian, you need to be fucking speaking up about lesbophobia. people don’t listen to us. the amount of times i’ve seen a bi woman speak out against lesbophobia and a lesbian be called biphobic for saying the same thing is .. astounding. if you think that lesbians have some kind of “monosexual privilege” or have it BETTER due to how hyper sexualized we are, you’re a lesbophobe. pure and simple.
