Season 2 Episode 23 Name of the episode: “Who’s Your Daddy?" This episode it’s about a teenage girl called “Leona” that have hallucinations in a airplane, she was traveling with his father and then she hallucinate that the airplane was sinking in the ocean and then she had a cardiogenic shock. In this part of the season House continues with the leg pain stronger than common, and he don’t know the reason. The diagnosis for the girl is that she has a cardiogenic shock and…no heart attack. Her toxicological analysis are normal, blood shows no infection and in this case there’s something personal and it’s that the father of the girl knows House. “Leona” is the granddaughter of Jesse Baker, a musician, that now is dead, becuase she lost her gandfather, her mother, her house and everything, in the hurricane “Katrina”. In the episode, House don’t believe that his friend “Dylan Crandall”, is the father of “Leona”, it’s because there are reasons to believe that, and it’s not only that Leona’s skin is black and Dylan’s is white, is that House said “Everybody lies" Dyllan said that he wrote a book of “Jesse Baker” and his spent time with his daughter, and he said that the mother of “Leona” never told her the truth of who was his father. Then in the episode, House begins to discuss about the case with his team, Chase said that New Orleans was a country of the third world, with toxins, mold, water in the street and one of that things can be fact of a new disease. House always make references or riddles of his cases, and of this case was “¿And what if her heart is like my bike?, it goes wrong when i amount it, but when i took her with the mechanic goes well” With that reference, Foreman thinks that is an arrythmia, and it’s a good conclution but…they have to do tests and they have to cause another arrythmia and she’s only a teenage so they have to ask the “father”, because is dangerous. House continue believing that “Leona” is trying to use Dylan for take all the money that he have, so he want to do an ADN test. In the operation they have to send electric pulses to the heart, with that they can localize the problem. With the first electric pulse nothing happens, with the second electric pulse they cause a heart attack, but there’s not the problem because she wasn’t hallucinating, so they send another electric pulse and they “find the problem” and they “solve the problem” freezing the damaged muscle. In this part of the season “Cuddy” the boss of the hospital, want to have kids, so she ask to house if he can check the records of the candidates of spermas. “Leona” continue with hallucinations…so this means that she continue with a problem. The team of House have to discuss again about the reasons of the hallucination, House said that she can be hallucinating for the pain, and that she have a disease autoimmune, and his gonna do test to check if his correct. In this test House have to cause pain to “Leona”, so he broke her finger to cause pain, with this “Leona” starts to hallucinate again, so the new hallucinations are of pain. Now the team of House know that “Leona” have a disease autoimmune, and for cure that they have to search wich disease can be and they have to search a new bone marrow. Dylan wants to be in the test of bone marrow, because he wants to donate part of his own spinal cord, but is not compatible, but “Leona" is lucky and there’s a person that is compatible. When House was doing the test of the spinal cord, he found a black liquid that came out of the mouth of “Leona”. The black liquid was excrement and blood, with this House and his team knows that they were wrong, “Leona” don’t have a disease autoimmune, it’s another thing, so they have to do a liver biopsy to find the problem. A liver biopsy is so dangerous, "Leona" can die if the team of House make a mistake, but they don't do the liver biopsy, because when House was listening the music of the grandfather of "Leona" he found something, in one of the songs House listen that Jesse Baker is angry because he thinks that his instrument it's not tuned up, but it was tuned up, that means that he have a hearing problem and humor changes, something important to detect the problem of "Leona". House thinks that she have hemochromatosis, because she have a lot of iron in the blood and in the past her skin was more white than black, but it wasn't that, because when they put treatment of hemochromatosis don't served and cause more damaged. Then, they find that the treatment for hemochromatosis don't server because she have a fungus in the body, because the fungus atraccts the iron that she have in the body and that cause damaged. They use a treatment for the fungus, but there exists more than 15 types of fungus, so they have to ask "Leona" where she exactly lived to know wich kind of fungus can be. When House ask to "Leona" if she lied about everything to Dylan, she say yes, Dylan is "not his father", she lied because she need a house to live, so she have a fungus becasue she use to be in the same studio that his grandfather and the buildings that have studios use to have more humidity and more with the hurricane "Katrina", and that's the reason of the fungus. So in conclution she have Zygomycoses and the treatment is amphotericin b. But there's content because, House do the ADN test...and Dylan is the father. End of the episode 23.
