im actually on the verge of tears because basically from tomorrow onwards australia is going to be run for three years by someone who believes equality is a fashion trend, that christian religious beliefs should be enforced, that rape is a women’s fault, that women aren’t supposed to be in power, that people should vote for him because his daughters are attractive, that abortion is the “easy way out”, that people choose to be homeless, that if low income earners can’t manage then that’s their problem, that public healthcare isn’t important, that public school funding isn’t important, that wants everyone in our country working but is going to cut 12 000 jobs, that believes “jesus has a place for everyone and sometimes that place isn’t australia”, that wants to remove part of the racism act that allows people to be treated unfairly because of their race, that climate change or trying to help our environment isn’t real or important, that not only wants to censor our internet but doesn’t think that it’s important and probably so much more that i don’t even know about because every time tony abbott opens his mouth it just gets worse and worse
