Hey, I love your art a hell of a lot and I have for years. Getting to see it is immeasurably valuable to me. Do you happen have a ko-fi where folks can throw appreciation of the financial variety in your direction? No worries if not, but yeah, as an illustrator you've been someone I've looked up to and been inspired by for a long time, and I'm a firm believer in supporting the things that one loves and appreciates.

it’s that day again
Well shit, that was a wild ride. Just dumping the last of my panic-doodles, don’t mind me.
Here’s a character I’ve had rattling around in the back of my brain for a while. She’s a private detective. I think her name is Myrt.
I’ll start a separate blog for the non-Tanglefoot stuff soon, but in the meantime here are some fighters I drew while testing out a new pen (Pentel SES15C, a new favorite) (not remotely waterproof though, learned that the hard way).

Maybe? I’m not sure! Still not cogitating so great, but I guess that never stopped me before.
Also, though… I don’t really know what to do with this blog? I guess I started it to document my progress on a comic, and as it became apparent that I lacked the focus and organization to create said comic the blog degenerated into a series of increasingly silly vignettes, and now I just don’t know. I mean, I’d be pretty content to keep drawing silly vignettes indefinitely, since some of you folks seem to enjoy them and I love you and want to make you happy. And I still do want to make the comic, although I have to admit that I do not currently have the psychological wherewithal to do it, and I’m not sure when that will change.
So I guess I will try to keep posting here for as long as y’all are willing to put up with me. And I might start another blog for my non-Tanglefoot art. At the moment that mainly consists of crappy drawings of staircases, but maybe some folks are into that.
I’m also finally coming to the realization that I probably don’t have a future as a professional artist, so if anyone can suggest a career for someone with no skills besides shitty latte art, basic bicycle repair and crying discreetly in public please let me know.

Haven’t drawn this guy in a couple of years.
Hey I’m reopening charity commissions for a bit. Thank you to the kind folks who commissioned me last time around and then waited patiently for like THREE WHOLE MONTHS for their commissions to be completed. I’m hopeful that I can get through them faster this time because my brain’s a bit less scattered and also because I downloaded a time management app which is definitely going to solve all my problems.
So this time it’s going to be a US$30 donation per b&w drawing (of course you should feel free to donate more if you want to and have the means). Some suggested charities are below but if you’d prefer to support a different cause that’s fine too, just run it by me first.
