My Thoughts on Sprousehart
I want to make this clear, I only ship fictional characters, not people in real life. With that being said, I ship bughead, not Sprousehart. I don't see how "cute" or "interesting" that people have claimed, they're just another example of a celebrity couple who're attractive and they so happen to play a couple on a TV show. Sure, both Betty and Jughead are cute together, but that doesn't mean that I want Cole and Lili to feel the same way because I can't control someone's emotions, it's rude and invasive on their part, and just because a group of people are playing a couple on some form of entertainment (TV, movie, cartoon, videogame, etc.) that doesn't mean that they like each other, will get along, and/or have anything in common with one another. They may have just announced that they're officially dating, I mean whatever, it's their life, and while they may be dating now, that doesn't mean that it'll last long. That may come off as pessimistic, but that's the reality. Whether you like it or not, not all relationships last long for various reasons. I just find it ridiculous that the fans will try to perpetuate their own feelings on a group of people to the point where they would get upset if they don't go out with each other. It's just so selfish, not to mention that Lili even made a Tumblr post of her speaking up against fans who're angry at her for not going out with one of her costars, especially Cole. I also want to point out that their are people who have a crush on Cole/Lili and you can't expect them to "get over it" and try not to feel jealous.
In conclusion; if Cole and Lili are dating (which at the time as I'm typing this, they are) that’s fine, if they're not, that's fine too. As long as they respect one another, fans should respect their privacy (especially when it comes to social media where everthing and anything can be seen by people and can be used against you), should have realistic expectations in terms of relationships, and shouldn't dictate whether or not they should be together.
But that's just my opinion.
