cats will be like ugh you’re obsessed with me go away freak. and then 2 minutes later: where are my huggies and kissies from mommy. where is my unconditional love and affection.

Thank you for posting a pine cone for reference but I’d like to see what the bird looks like too, please.
”we need to talk later”
first of all, i have anxiety tell me now
car conversations so good bc of removal of eye contact expectation. let us all learn from this
be vulnerable! be silly! be weird! present yourself uninhibited to the world! you have nothing to lose but your shame!
Your feelings are always valid but your actions aren’t.
If you feel like a friend doesn’t care about you, it isn’t okay to accuse them and attack them.
But it is okay to still talk to them about it. Just because a feeling isn’t rational doesn’t mean you have to handle it alone. Approaching it with an attitude like “it isn’t your fault, but I’m really struggling right now, can you reassure me you care about me?” is okay!
Maybe you can also come up with some ideas together of how to help prevent the feelings. Like maybe you save screenshots, or other sentimental things. Maybe they try to reach out more.
But the main point is just because a feeling is irrational doesn’t mean you have to deal with it alone. While it’s good to self soothe, sometimes we can’t “let go” until we talk about it and we just delay the feelings here and there.
