I had a great morning, doing some writing and snuggling with Thief.
Once I was good and hydrated, I ventured out for my run. I set a distance for myself before stopping (this heat has been making it a real struggle) and I accomplished my goal, so I’m happy. Also saw some turtles on my way through a park. 😄 I sat out on the patio to get some more sun and then I got my workout done. 💪🏻
am i the only one terrified my teaspoon measurement isn’t actually a teaspoon and is really a tablespoon so u just spend 15 minutes vigorously googling what it’s supposed to look like and still put the amount of calories in your tracker app that would’ve been if it were tablespoons
For me, yes weight loss would be wonderful and I do want to lose weight, but my real goal is to be healthy, strong, more energetic and to be able to keep up with my son and dog. My goal is to not feel sick and exhausted every day of my life. I want to enjoy life and I don’t want to spend another minute feeling this way! Life is so short and you only get one go at it!
Day 129 Gymless: My body was feeling great this morning so I set out on a run. I ran a mile, walked a bit, ran 0.75 miles, walked again, ran 0.5 miles, walked most the way back. Getting a little more used to running in the heat now.
Unfortunately, I started getting sharp pains the last half mile back, so now I’m icing my sore muscles and thinking it’s going to be spinning and walking for me for a while. 😒
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of running. And I hate that my body isn’t allowing me to do that right now. 💔
