Several of my friends and I have been plagued by some rather unsavory people. Many times I suggested cursing, but always while I was extremely angry and not thinking very well. After calming down tonight we discussed a much milder spell that simply makes people acutely aware of the pain and anger they have caused, and to not forget it for quite some time.
One red (or any color you associate with anger) candle.
A candle holder.
A small bowl, preferably in a color that you feel connected to (I used an orange one).
Some water (I used some from a bottle I happened to have. Since I live in the desert and have to hide what I do, moon, rain, sea, and storm water isn’t exactly something I can use, but if you have something that works for you, use that).
A smallish piece of paper.
A black pen.
A red pen.
A smallish length of string.
Any stones, candles, music, etc. that may enhance your powers.
Clean the area of anything you don’t want to be contaminated with angry energy. Remove any clothes or jewelry you don’t want contaminated, either.
Collect whatever you use to cleanse yourself, your tools, and the area around you after working with bad energy.
Write out what the person has done to you with the black pen I recommend writing it in a way that flows most naturally to you. If you’e an eloquent motherfucker, write some bomb-ass poetry. If you feel more comfortable writing “u fucked up my shit,” by all means write that out. Just make sure it feels Right (revision may be needed). End it with “May you finally learn of the pain you have caused.” Then, write their name or whatever you most know them as (like “Asshole” or “Vomit-Filled Condom”) above it in red.
Do whatever you do before casting a spell-cast a circle, light a candle, etc.
Turn off/put away anything that might distract you, then turn off the light(s).
Getting This Show on the Road:
Sit with the empty bowl in front of you, with the candle behind it.
Light the candle, then pour the water into the bowl. You might want to visualize this person’s ill will seeping into the water as it pours into the bowl.
Gently dip your fingers into the bowl, and begin envisioning the subject as best as you can.
Speak their name, then say “You are guilty of…” and then read off what you have written.
Close your eyes and imagine all the bad things they’ve made you feel circling them, faster and faster.
Say “This is what you have done,” then roll up the paper, wrinkling it a little. Tie it as tight as possible wit the string. Say “May you never forget it/May you remember this for X amount of time/whatever you see fit.”
Close your eyes again, imagining all your pain, anger, anxiety, etc. crashing into them, then blow out your candle.
Store the roll of paper. I recommend not throwing it away, in case you want to end the spell sooner, or intensify it. If you’re confident in what you’ve done though, dispose of it in any way you choose.
Do whatever you need to do to cleanse yourself, your tools, and the area around you. Then, treat yo’self. You deserve it.
I wrote this spell with the intention of casting it on someone that’s REALLY pissed me off. Not because they cut me off while driving or some shit, but because they have seriously hurt me or someone I care about. Please keep this in mind as you consider doing this.
addition to the gender thing - a good word for nonbinary witchy folk is wix! (it can also be used as a collective term, sort of like a "ladies and gentelmen" thing, except magickal and gender inclusive).

What fantastic news!!! I hope this will bring a revival to Deviantart!!! I was -just- talking about how it would take a buy-out in order to finally put Deviantart’s full potential to use. I felt like the creators were just sitting on their hoard, doing nothing. They haven’t improved the community in years. The last big thing they did was totally redo the branding. :-/
Maybe Wix can actually save the community we all began as artists on. I miss the community Deviantart had- the fact that people used to actually COMMENT and COMMUNICATE, not this microblogging bs. They may finally revive the art world and bring the social aspect back to people who so desperately want to actually HEAR back from people who follow their art!
IDK about you, but Tumblr is so dead, as is anywhere you try to post your art. I have over 700 followers and only an average of 4 people even react to anything I post. Back in Deviantart’s hay days I actually got to KNOW who followed me by a rally of conversation. I was able to find out new artists and bounce from their favorites to find other new talent as well. With clubs, and comment-reminders, Deviantart had so much potential to truly unite artists and get people talking. I really hope this buy-out brings about a much needed revival.
Challenge: Pansy/Percy (romantic not friendship) -- I have no other qualifications other than that, so you have a lot of freedom here. Let me know if you need more, but I'm very curious to see what you come up with, Ms. Rare Pairs
The shop front was unmistakably pink in a world of white and dull winter grey. Light from its frosted window panes coated the cobbled sidewalk with a bright cheery glow missing from all the other stores dotted along the narrow alleyway.
“Not natural,” one witch said as she wandered down the street bent over her cane. “Pink and frilly don’t belong down here.”
Her friend grunted his agreement as he tugged at one of the long strands of his hair poking out from his hood. “Ain’t she learned this place is for hiding?”
“‘Fraid not, Gerald. She’d determined to get herself in trouble.”
“She gives me the heebies, Sandy. I don’t like it.”
The pair walked on ahead, feet dragging through the icy slush collecting in the drains on the other side of the street, making their way towards Borgin and Burkes for the next item on their shopping list. As they reached the door, a wizard dressed in muted blues and golds opened it for them. His hair was close-cropped on either side of his head, the top covered by a short top hat, and his gloves squeaked against the old wood as he held the door open for the pair.
“I’ll be along again in the coming weeks, Borgin,” the Ministry official said.
He couldn’t have been anything but a Ministry wizard, Sandy thought to herself, noting the way he was dressed in the middle of Knockturn Alley. His type were always pants at blending in. Especially when they tried to. She nodded her head politely to the wizard, not wanting any trouble, and pulled her shopping companion in behind her so he’d stop staring at the shop down the way.
BDS fail: Pro-Palestinian group uses Israeli firm to build site - University of Denver’s branch of Students for Justice in Palestine use Wix, an Israeli company, to build their website in support of BDS - 27 November 2015
The University of Denver’s branch of Students for Justice in Palestine decided to build a new website in order to disseminate its call for a boycott of Israel. However, the creators of the website failed to realize that the company they used to build the site, Wix, is an Israeli company that provides a free platform for web development. Another website, Israellycool.com, noticed the ironic BDS fail and reported about it, before the Students for Justice in Palestine website was taken down to be replaced with an error message. Two years ago, the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland (ZF) discovered that “pro-Palestinian” activists who promote the Boycott, Sanctions and Divestment (BDS) movement against Israel used Wix to create their websites. ZF pointed out two websites run by anti-Israel groups which used Israeli technology: The website of the Cornell University branch of “Students for Justice in Palestine”, and the “Palestinian Holocaust Museum” website, which presumably is opposed to any recognition of Israel since it promotes the baseless assertion that Zionists have committed genocide against Palestinian Arabs. Activists who call to boycott Israel or Israeli products are often reminded that if they truly wanted to boycott Israel they would have to avoid using a whole slew of technologies invented by Israelis. In 2011, when a woman in South African called for a boycott of a local pharmacy chain because it sold Dead Sea products made in Israel, the chain’s CEO responded with the following: “[I]f it is your intention to boycott Israeli products, you need to be consistent if your gesture is to have any meaning. I hope you don’t use an Intel chip in your computer with which you probably wrote your e-mail because it was invented in Israel. “I hope that you stay in good health because if you need preventative surgery against a heart attack, you will have to boycott the procedure because guess what? The stent was invented in Israel! “Likewise, I hope you are never prescribed any patch for diabetes, to deliver medication and other drugs. If you are an asthmatic you may have to use a new type of inhaler (Spin) invented in Israel. So please check! “Israel has given the world the system of drip irrigation which is being widely adopted in SA with water shortages like many countries. Should you boycott all fruit and vegetables grown by this method? The list that Israel has given the world is very lengthy. Check very carefully what you boycott.”
Air rules the cross-over; the great threshold, the gates of death.
Their focus often is on the death side of nature, which to many is unexpected. One must acknowledge death, along with life. One can only survive a few minutes without air, but if you breathe the wrong air, you will surely die. Air brings disease, death and destruction just as it sustains our lives.
At the same time, though, air cannot create/re-create life by itself. An Air Witch needs the element Earth to recycle their winds, as well as Water and Fire, to aid in growth.
