As excited as I am to go off to college and start my life, I’m worried.
I’m moving 8+ hours away, and I have no idea as to who is actually attending/officially enrolling at the same school as I am.
I’ve seen 5 or 6 acceptances of people that I know, but I’m afraid I’ll be alone.
I’m following the UTK tracked tag on tumblr and talking to people on it- but I feel like such a creep because they all are actually from Tennessee, and they have friends they’re planning on rooming with and I have no idea and omg I’m going to be alone.
I reallyreallyreally want a suite-styled dorm room but now that my basement is having such problems, I’m not sure if that’s happening anymore.
Which means I need to get a job to let that happen and save up my money for all of that. Op.
The South Carrick Hall seems like the best fit for me. Two rooms, connected by a bathroom with a total of 4 people. The room sizes are slightly larger than the room I have now- so it’s not too small. I mean, my room is the size of the rooms in the residence halls…
Makes me appreciate my space a lot more.
Massey Hall doesn’t seem so bad either. I just really don’t want bunk beds… because I move a lot in my sleep and my room mate will want to kill me after the first week. It’ll be like sleeping on a ship.
Clement Hall seems fine too. They have those bunk bed type things though, which I’m okay with. They have the beds on top, and room for your stuff on bottom. I just hope that I don’t fall off.
I’m happy that the colors don’t include yellow… I mean, I’ll already bring some yellow to the mix. With only 3% Asian, Op. lolol it doesn’t matter, most of my Asian friends here can’t really speak their own language.
NO KOREAN RESTAURANTS THOUGH. I’m pretty sure. sigh sigh sigh.
I’m visiting over the summer whoop whoop :3
okies, ramble done… for now.
