This shit needs to be addressed, the anon that @jaextapose got hating on Haechan was the last straw for me.
I honestly don’t think some people don’t realize how much and the amount of hate and slander and malicious comments idols get, no matter what platform. And what sucks even more is that the idols know they get them, they know about the hate and shit they get. But they always keep a smile even if it hurts. Netz have to notice that.
This goes for even people who aren’t idols, cyber bullying victims, people who get told rude and disrespectful things sent to them. Just one comment, one more could absolutely push someone off the deep end.
You need to think about your actions before you do them. Sitting behind a screen does NOT give you immunity, company’s can find you, police can find you, hell a dedicated duck could probably track you down. All it does is make you look like a coward.
So how dare you, if you’re one of those people who go on anon to send hate and threats, who go and leave comments on articles, who start and spread rumors or scandals. It can cause multiple things. The end of careers, the end of LIVES, the end of so many things, the end of the persona some idols put on for fan service.
My mom told me. Treat others how you’d like to be treated. Would you want someone to send you that shit? To tell you things, to find out rumors about you and have to apologize for no reason? To deal with that shit everyday when you go online? Some Tumblr users get those messages, those threats. They’re real, they can affect the person, never joke about it. ‘i didn’t know they’d actually do it’ is NOT an excuse or an apology. It’s just a shrug or a 'not my fault’ so don’t you ever send stuff like that, it’s also illegal, the person can take legal action.
I’ll probably add more to this later.
