The cast and crew are gearing up for completion of production on our THIRD (and penultimate) season this summer, and the first step to that is a massive Season 3 Table Read, which is coming up on May 16!
To celebrate that news, we are revealing the EPISODE TITLES for the six episodes that will constitute Season 3. AND THEY ARE:
Production on these episodes will commence on June 1, and will be spread across two filming units.
We can also confirm a few CREW CHANGES and EPISODE DIRECTORS for Season 3!
Series creator and executive producer DUSTIN STREET will continue to serve in his capacity as one of the showrunners for The Stranger, and will also return to the director’s chair for the first two episodes of the new season - “Complex” and “Confidante” (for which production has already wrapped).
In addition to Street and his story development partner Drew Howell (who also will be playing a new character on the show this year), additional management duties will fall to executive producers TANESHA FRANKLIN-WHITE and ERIC DOEPEL, who have been named co-showrunners for the series’ penultimate season.
Franklin-White will be directing the third episode of the season - titled “Void” - while Doepel will return to helm the season finale episode “Requiem.”
No director has been named for the fourth and fifth episodes, but HANNAH FAITH RADER (“Barb Tanner” and director of two Season 1 episodes - “Catch” and “Release”) has been tapped by the creator to direct at least one Season 3 episode, and longtime script supervisor PAIGE HARDY has also been approached, which would give this season of the show its highest ratio of female-to-male directors on a season.
In addition, PARIS ELY will be added to the show’s ranks as its co-producer, alongside Street.
