ONLY A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE GOT THE “REAL ME” TO QUOTE THE WHO HERE. “ I WON’T BE FOOLED AGAIN” , IS ANOTHER SONG BY THE WHO. I WILL LIVE UP TO THAT. SOMETIMES A CHANGE IS NECESSARY IN LIFE. I WILL LEAVE TUMBLR WITH MY PERSONAL WORK FOR SURE AND LET YOU KNOW ABOUT IT. I CAN’T LIVE WITH THE CONSTANT FEELING OF CONTROL, LIKE IN MY FUCKED UP CHILDHOOD. “EVERY MAN AND WOMAN IS A STAR” ALEISTER CROWLEY ONCE SAID. THIS IS ABOUT PERSONAL FREEDOM. TO GROW AND TO EXPERIMENT WITH MY TOOLS OF EXPRESSION IS MY GOAL. I CAN’T DO IT ON A BIGOTED PLATFORM. IF SOME PEOPLE ARE MISUSING THEIR FREEDOM IT’S THEIR RESPOSIBILITY NOT MINE. IF MY FEELING IS CORRECT AND TUMBLR WILL BE SOLD BY VERIZON, LIKE THEY DID WITH FLICKR LAST YEAR, THINGS MAY CHANGE FOR THE BETTER AGAIN. IN A CASE LIKE THAT, I MAY CONTINUE PORT OF SAINTS AND MAKI PRESENTS ON TUMBLR, MAYBE EVEN THE PERSONAL ONES, BUT NOT FOR SURE. RIGHT NOW I TOOK ALL MY BLOGS AWAY FROM THE PUBLIC VIEW AND OUT OF THE SEARCH ENGINES. THEY STILL CAN BE FOUND FOR LOGGED IN TUMBLR USERS ON THE DASH. ON DECEMBER 17 I WILL JOIN THE GENERAL PROEST AND LOG OUT COMPLETELY FOR THAT ONE DAY. I DON’T FOLLOW MY DASH ANYMORE TOO, IT MAKES ME ANGRY. IT’S WINTER, TIME FOR SOME HIBERNATION. dude it's just a blogging website. verizion can do whatever the hell they want to with tumblr since they own it now + the tos says it's 13+ anyways so it was never intended solely for adults. and it's not like there isn't a million porn sites online
It’s a blogging website - and that’s why people should be able to express themselves (as long as they’re not harmful, like e.g. self-harm promoting blogs). Censorship never solves anything - look it up, history is full of proofs for that statement. This just kills websites, and I really want to stay here, because tumblr matches my preferences. Twitter imo is pointless, I don’t care for Instagram, I don’t like browsing Deviantart, Pinterest is too chaotic - and I can go on and on. Right now the artists I’m following want to migrate to the sites I don’t like using - this does concern me. So I don’t care for p*rn - on the contrary, I’d love to see the p*rn bots removed. I wholly agree with you - there are countless p*rn sites and Idk why people continue to use tumblr as such. But you have to make a distinction between p*rn and art. Tasteful nudity in photography and paintings is art and banning it is just mindless censorship. Also, it wasn’t even a day, and yet I see more and more flagged photos or gifs - half of the times there is even no nudity at all! Hell, sometimes there isn’t even a human subject present! And this is just ridiculous. So yeah, I stand by my words - this is bullshit and poor management. Sure, they own it and can whatever they please, but as a user I can and will give feedback.
I joined tumblr because it was a place to share whatever and express my art. It was freeing to find a place that didn’t find my “mildly sexual, somewhat disturbing” art disgusting.
If you aren’t up to date, Tumblr was taken off of the Apple Store for being “not kid friendly”. Tumblr then in response purged a huge amount of blogs including but not limited to Art blogs, LGBT blogs. Limiting expression and censoring the masses who are speaking up against it. However, they did not remove the Porn Bot Blogs, which were the issue. On December 17, 2018 they will be implementing/enforcing their new guidelines.
Today I went through my blog and deleted my NSFW posts so that I wouldn’t forget to do it before Dec. 17. I maybe moving in the future to Instagram or some other website, but for now I will remain.

They just fucking sensitized a perfectly okay blog. It had NSFW(rarely if ever) everyone in awhile but it gave fair warnings, and never abused it. I love this site but I hate it at the same time. I get the whole “No more nsfw”, but taking it this far? @staff I think you need to chill on this one. @staff fix this please, and stop making every little detail to sensitive for the fragile teens. I’m so done. I know this barely makes sense since I’ve got a migraine and it’s late at the moment. But I think you guys know where I am going with this.
Remember, we have to call a strike on the internet for 7 days so that this law isn’t approved or we have to raise our voices so that we hear and that article 13 isn’t approved.
If article 13 comes into force in March, goodbye to the internet as we know it here in Europe, that is, there will be no more, memes, parodies, fanarts, cosplays, remixes, reviews, satires, etc. We have to prevent the European Parliament from approving it.
If what the internet is free to express, share so that it doesn’t come true.
My apologies about the lack of uploads. I do have some ready to post but I have been holding off until this ridiculous Tumblr censor issue has passed since some of the art has NSFW content.
Will get back on it once everything is calmer, unless it doesn’t. At that point I may begin uploading elsewhere.
