Warnings: not really, mentions of racism?, i love him (protect him pls)
Kenway, or Ratonhnhaké:ton,
didn’t know too much about being in romantic relationships. Apart from what
he’d witnessed as a young child, in his village, or the little he’d witnessed
in the strict British colonies, in his later years, he was clueless. He refused
to ask Achilles, so the young Kanien’kenhá:ka
male read books on the matter. He perused various romantic novels, most of
which held great tales of love, and many had men defeating insane beasts, in
order to woo the women they desired.
none of these tales struck the young, teenaged Connor as very accurate.
did not matter to him, either way. Very few women talked to him, as he spent
much time away from the Kanien’kenhá:ka
village, and the colonist women often looked down on him, due to his heritage.
Ratonhnhaké:ton could possibly count
on his fingers, the number of female colonists who treated him as an equal, or
at least equal to the male colonists.
Ratonhnhaké:ton: Come spring two dozen men will have moved here. By fall there will be two dozen more. They will hunt in these forests. They will settle on this land. In less than a year there will be a hundred of them. In time they will swallow us whole.
Kanen'tó:kon: They are still far away.
Ratonhnhaké:ton: Yes. But they are CLOSER than they were. We need to do something. If we do not act, if we do not fight, it will happen again…
Kanen'tó:kon: Enough of that. I thought you were teaching me how to climb.
Connor: Norris! How is the mine? Is there anything worth your time down there
Norris: Most definitely. Copper, Connor. And a healthy amount of it.
Connor: Excellent. I am glad. I have been meaning to ask, is Norris a common French name?
Norris: My real name is not Norris. It’s Maurice.
Connor: But you told me…
Norris: I did. When I arrived in Boston, people started calling me Norris and I got tired of correcting them all the time. Just before we met I had been talking with that lady in the pub, she said she liked my name “Norris”. I decided to stick with it.
Connor: Would you prefer I called you by your real name?
Norris: Nah. Everybody here knows me as Norris, Myriam included. Names can change but people stay the same, isn’t that right, Connor?
sometimes i think about how cool some characters are and how much feels other characters give me but then i remember connor kenway and suddenly i don’t fucking care about them because connor is the kindest, most badass character ever and life *coughJUNOYOUBITCHcough* totally screwed him over
CONNOR KENWAY RUINED MY LIFE RATONHNHAKETON RUINED MY LIFE OK
GODDAMN YOU UBISOFT WHY COULDN’T YOU HAVE LET HIM HAVE A LIFE LIKE EZIO’S
How would Connor deal with a VERY upset s/o? (Not upset at him.)
Hmm, Connor would catch on to his S/O’s emotions right away. He may not understand the situation completely (Leading him to believe they’re mad at him for a second), but once it’s confirmed it’s someone else he’s ready. He will talk out the situation and then want to take action right away. Depending on his S/O he’d probably show up at their house or something and threaten them. If his S/O didn’t want that, he’d just brood in the distance.
