Person: I wanna buy a gaming pc
Internet: That’s a stupid idea. Build it yourself for cheap.
Person: I don’t know how to do that
Internet: Oh no it’s super easy, anyone can do it.
Person: Okay so I just buy the parts?
Internet: Absolutely. Anything new these days is cross compatible.
Person: All my parts got here but they aren’t compatible
Internet: What are you serious?? You have to get stuff that works with extremely specific parts.
Person: Okay, what parts work with what?
Internet: Oh, there’s no guide, mostly hearsay on what probably works together, go try again.
Person: Well, my parts got here, how do I fit the parts together?
Internet: I mean it’s easy just like playing with Legos. Just plug stuff up. Not hard.
Person: Okay, but what if I break something or something goes wrong?
Internet: Absolutely zero chance of that happening.
Person: My computer is now definitely broken.
Internet: What happened?
Person: Here’s the complete set of steps I did
Internet: what! Are you crazy?? You can’t do that! You broke it! Nothing can fix that!
Person: You said this would be cheap, easy, and there was no chance of it breaking.
Internet: Yeah only after you’ve built like seven computers though, you can’t do it as a newb.
