Bert and Ernie have been written as a gay couple, but Sesame Workshop has confirmed Muppets aren’t sexual. Based on this evidence, we can conclude that the two of them are asexuals in a homoromantic relationship. In this essay I will
Reason #1000 why we need Muppet Dracula: To see Miss Piggy as Mina getting super into vampiric seduction by Uncle Deadly as Dracula until she realizes he’s the one who tormented Kermit as Jonathan at which point she just fucking punts him through the window.
When I was a young one, the first time I ever brought up a crush I had on someone that was thought to be the same gender as me, my father sat me down in front of the television and played tape after tape of Sesame Street. Kinda ironic how sesame street was made to be inclusive, progressive and accepting but the moment one of their writers admit he based bert and ernie off of him and his boyfriend they suddenly more assbackwards that the writers of ‘adult animation’
Wikipedia says this is the day sesame st premiered, so WOO-HOO
