Let me present you with the stupidest fight in history. Cesare and Vittorio everyone. I lost it at this scene lmao it was the funniest thing ever and the background music is really not helping at all! and the bi lighting 👀
(Also how many times Luca get slapped in this movie. Alessandro Borghi must have a great time filming this movie)
In honor of the Movie Clubs first full month of movies and in dedication to our last movie we watched, here’s a list of dope movies on witches that aren’t your typical Hocus Pocus movies (Although we love that movie too!)
Practical Magic (1998) The Movie Club’s 3rd Movie Watch
The Witches (1990 & 2020)Excited because they’re going to be remaking this one and it was also the first movie of the month we watched for October.
The Witches of Eastwick (1987) Do you like Hocus Pocus maybe you should try this one instead!
Stardust (2007) Once again we got three sister witches, what’s the deal with this theme? Also did anyone else realize that no to only is Robert DeNiro in here but aslo Charlie Cox (Daredevil) Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian) and FREAKIN MUSCLE BOI NEW SHERLOCK HOLMES HENRY CAVIL!!! It’s like when you watch a ghibli movie again after a long time and go wow that voice sounds familiar and then your like ANNE HATHAWAY???
Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971) Did you like Mary Poppins but wished she disliked kids a little more and fought in the war…?
The Love Witch (2016) Witches but make it grainy and lana del ray esque
The Butcher’s Wife (1991) The Love Witch but less intense and a bit more magical realism.
The Crucible (1996) Ye Olde Time Classic Witch, time to transport yourself back to when you had to read this in high school! These girls wild!
Bell Book and Candle (1958) The Classic modern witch aesthetic! Underrated
