So Ahsoka and Anakin have that game of ‘how many droids did you destroy’ each battle. So my personal headcanons of if and when the other Jedi join in.
✰He absolutely joins in.
✰Probably places a bet on who’ll get the most - whether it’s credits or a free drink at a bar or some fast food (depending on age).
✰Laughs at Anakin’s dumbfounded expression when he loses to Ahsoka.
✰She participates sometimes but usually focuses on the battle and the mission.
✰Kit and her have a competition with it when on missions together, because competitive best friends!!
✰Bly inquires about the competition after they were laughing about numbers one mission??
✰She explained and the competition spread to the clones of the 327th Star Corps. It’s great for troop morale.
✰Rolls his eyes at Skywalker’s antics.
✰Pretends to not approve.
✰Randomly lets his total slip out one mission - it was in the hundreds. Skywalker was dumbfounded - equivalent expression of a gaping fish; Ahsoka was in stitches and the 501st were snickering.
✰Commander Ponds contributed his total too.
✰After Ponds died, Mace never competed again in the competition.
✰Contributes his total every time.
✰Very disappointed if he doesn’t win anything physical so he always gets competitive on missions with Kit.
✰Doesn’t disclose his total until the mission is done - usually.
✰Did I mention his competitive streak?? The droids didn’t stand a chance when Ki-Adi wants to win - it’s a bit of fun only though.
✰He’s especially competitive when there’s a padawan involved, even more so when their master doesn’t join in. He loves the delight in the padawans face when they win.
✰Sometimes he’ll let the younger padawans win - especially if they’re particularly young to be a padawan.
✰No-nonsense archetype, she’s very serious.
✰It shocks everyone when her and Barriss exchanged scores once.
✰Barriss and her have a silent competition, but usually they never disclose their scores to each other.
✰She enjoys it though, albeit she’d never let anyone think that.
✰Only participates with Anakin when he knows he’s going to win.
✰Otherwise, he’ll roll his eyes at Anakin and Ahsoka’s antics.
✰One thing is consistent: his sassy quips.
✰Depending on the other Jedi he’s with, he’ll participate. If he’s alone, he lets the 212th ‘join in the fun’.
✰Waxer and Boil team up, giving the General a run for his money. So sometimes Cody and Obi-Wan team up and they are a force!! The field is obliterated within minutes with those two teams competing.
✰Usually, Obi-Wan is very serious (as is Cody but I’m focusing on Jedi here), so the mission comes first (or in Cody’s case protecting the lives of his men and then the mission.) The competition only occurs when it’s safe enough to do so, and won’t jeopardise anything.
✰Wins every time. So don’t even attempt to compete against him unless you want to be absolutely slaughtered because you Will Lose.
✰Spreads the competition to the younglings who are bordering on becoming padawans.
✰It keeps a small amount of happiness within the Jedi so it’s justified in the sense that it keeps them within the light side.
✰He can’t exactly endorse the killing of species if they side with separatists - he tries to make that clear as day; the competition is only for battle droids.
✰He just wants the war over, but he’ll do his best in keeping the young ones out of it or to make it seem a little better.
✰Privately thanks Skywalker for the little game, as it’s helped a lot of padawans cope a little better with the trauma of war that they shouldn’t have gone through.
✰He has to win every time.
✰The competitive streak is strong in this one.
✰The whole 501st joins in before long (usually competing against the 212th).
✰He started the game as a way to soften the blow of the war a little to Ahsoka while being productive towards the mission.
✰He just really cares about her and always addresses her as ‘Snips’ when he tells her the total.
✰Rex hands him his ass one time and oh Maker, you’ve never seen him look more proud yet embarrassed at the same time.
✰Plo has competed in this game since he discovered it.
✰Always ready to compete against Little Ahsoka; and yes, sometimes he lets her win until she gets a little older.
✰Naturally, the Wolfpack/104th compete. Plo’s bros.
✰Wolffe wins once and then the entirety of the 104th make it their mission he never wins again (they fail sometimes still) and it makes him nearly insufferable.
✰Wolffe, Sinker and Boost team up as the originals one mission. The rest of the 104th almost lost by a landslide until Plo teamed up with the rest of them.
✰He’s happy, his men are happy and so is any Padawan when they’re on missions together.
Adi Gallia (ft Stass Allie)
✰A little free-spirited but mission-oriented, she competes whenever she can unless there’s serious endangerment or it complicates the mission.
✰Regularly competes against her cousin, Stass Allie, on missions.
✰They usually fall into a range close to each other on total scores.
Tiplar and Tiplee
✰Someone say twin rivalry??
✰They usually focus on the mission and share totals after, betting on small things with each other.
✰When they team up and compete against other Jedi, they are a force to be reckoned with.
✰Tiplee stopped competing when Tiplar met her untimely death.
✰She does it for her Padawan, Caleb Dume, who eventually will pass it down to Ezra Bridger (but with stormtroopers instead of droids).
✰Caleb loves it, as it’s one of the few fun things he can get away with.
✰She usually competes silently, exchanging totals after the mission is complete or a battle is won. While Caleb has a constant stream of updated totals after every round of droids. He’s very excitable when doing this, so Depa makes sure to keep his focus on the battle/mission.
✰He will compete at any chance given. Alongside a constant update of totals.
✰He’s excitable and reckless, leading to a very high competitive drive.
✰He loves competing with anyone; he won’t ever go easy on them either.
✰He won’t admit it but sometimes he may be a little easier on Aayla but he makes up for it when she catches up to his total.
✰Eventually Aayla doesn’t need him to stop with his recklessness being an advantage (and yes she does team up with Bly against her old master sometimes).
