have a great evening
Tony is sick, baggy-eyed, vomiting, bed-ridden and going crazy because of the food poisoning.
But, despite everything, he’s still has to deal with a rat, being arrested by the feds (in front of his family), federal charges, an abusive mother who will happily turn in him and his daughter’s graduation. In like two days.
Then at the end, nothing has changed: he is still back to whining to Melfi and the lawyer again about Livia.
This one episode alone is quite a haunting performance from Gandolfini.
Tony’s life might just be a horrible cycle.
James Gandolfini was a legend taken from us way too soon.
“We’re soldiers. Soldiers don’t go to hell. It’s war. Soldiers kill other soldiers. We’re in a situation where everyone involved knows the stakes and if you accept those stakes, you’ve got to do certain things. It’s business.”
