How to Treat Sheets So They Last

Wash in warm water using permanent press or casual cycle. The higher the temperature the rougher it is on the fabric.

Dry on permanent press or casual (not timed). These cycles sense when sheets are dry so you won’t expose them to unnecessary heat, which can cause shrinkage and damage.

Nix Wrinkles with the extended tumble option: it tumbles sheets intermittently (minus heat) so creases won’t form. Or toss in a damp washcloth for 10 minutes. It’s moisture will help smooth.

Small tidying laundry tip

Today as I was folding laundry I realized I should share this little tip I use when I'm doing laundry. I have 2 cats and wear a lot of black so you can imagine the battle I fight to stay relatively hair free. (even lint rollers bought in bulk only go so far) especially since my cats will find any opportunity to sleep in my dresser drawers.

I fold my laundry inside out. I know it sounds pretty straight forward but trust me, it makes a huge difference in how often I pull something out cat hair free or not.
