let's talk New Years Resolutions
I've been breaking my goals up into 4 categories:
Mental Health Goals
and then a fourth space for whatever i feel like honing in on in 2021. This year it's:
Once I've filled out all the goals I want to accomplish, I then break each one up into monthly goals.
For example, one of my 2021 goals is to read a book a month so since my book list is extensive, I've chosen 12 and ordered them - one for each month.
Finally, i start to structure my weeks to fit in space for my goals. Not all 52 of them, but I will look at my goals and go "ok i want to meditate at least once a week, well I'm most stressed on Mondays so I'll make sure I meditate Monday morning" etc etc.
Every 3 months I will sit down and reevaluate where I'm at. This holds me accountable while also allowing me to stay flexible in my goals.
