I’m a Gruvia shipper, and I’m happy to see Natsu
support the ship. With that said, it’s off-putting to see congratulatory posts
about him when it pertains to what is happening in the current anime about
standing up for Juvia especially when he doesn’t even know the actual
situation. He was being ignorant and immature looking at one-sidedly, not
focusing at all on what Gray’s feelings were. It was selfish and inconsiderate
for Natsu to say all of that.
Also Pot-meet kettle much? He’s berating someone
of doing what he exactly did to his own waifu Lucy. Natsu, how about you take
your own advice and look in the mirror before you preach? It doesn’t look good
on you. Also I hated how he simply left Lucy
instead of bringing her along, that was a dick move. I’m a Nalu shipper as
well, so I was disappointed with him there.
Atta Girl Lucy!
That’s right Natsu, you have no words to say!
In Gray’s case, we know he was in a major
dilemma. We know that Gray wanted to bring Juvia along but due to special extra
circumstances, he couldn’t. He trusted Erza wholeheartedly and that was his
mistake. Erza herself clarified the situation and shut Natsu up. We knew that Gray was upset about this,
because he felt genuinely bad for Juvia and that’s why he never said anything
to Natsu. It’s pretty telling that Gray who is usually quick to argue with
Natsu, kept quiet about this. This is Gray being his sincere compassionate usual
kind hearted self.
Also why is Natsu only saying that about Gray?
Why isn’t he putting any blame on Erza at all, when she’s just as guilty!!
Infact she knew of Gray’s overall situation and was the one to give the orders
to begin with. Seems like double standards from him again. I disliked Natsu in
these sequences. It was just
Unlike Natsu, Gray was man enough to admit to his
mistakes (of relying on Erza) and own up to them by apologizing to Juvia.
Honestly Erza should be apologizing as well in all fairness.
Natsu on the other hand couldn’t even do that
much even while knowing he hurted Lucy’s feelings and trust. He has yet to
apologize to her. He should’ve apologized to her back when she called him out
on it in episode 3.
Overall, this happened in the manga a long time
ago, all is now well and done with, but this is basically a clear understanding
of what went through in those events, and is just for the anime only viewers to
Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Chapter 22 gave me so many Inuyasha vibes
I tried to search a post about it on tumblr so I could reblog it but nobody actually noticed the similiaties between Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Chapter 22 and Inuyasha Chapter 355 (episode 167). I hate writting stuff because that’s not my native language so I already apologize for any mistakes.
Okay, even though both mangas are totally different, we have Natsu and Inuyasha losting their minds in both of them.
And when they start to lose themselves to darkness, Lucy and Kagome just hug them despite of the obvious danger they are getting into. We know that they’re are afraid of what they’re seeing, but the feeling of belief that they have in Natsu’s and Inuyasha’s true selves is stronger than everything.
Well, I think that’s it. They are their light. They are their cure. They are their salvation.
I love how Lucy and Kagome don’t care the price they have to pay to bring their beloved ones back to normal. And ironically, in both mangas, they get burned while they try to calm down Natsu and Inuyasha.
They are so brave. You have to admire that.
I know it’s a cliché, but I totally FREACKED OUT when I noticed it.
Hey Kae, Hope you’re doing well! If you’re taking requests, how about Nalu/Endlu “you’re mine. I don’t share” with a protective, jealous and possessive Natsu/e.n.d. who’s none too pleased that random would be suitors are bidding on that his girl (who he wants to claim for himself) for a date auction as part of a guild charity event. maybe he ends up staking his claim on Lucy With actions kissing her senseless in front of everyone and physical reminders like...
Hi! I’m doing great! I hope you like this little bit. This was definitely a fun prompt (I had to do some research about Jewels and stuff. Apparently 100 Jewels is like 1 US dollar. That’s insane. And also, I hate math. So, hopefully, this all makes sense, I dunno?) Anyways! I hope you like it! :)
Nalu: You’re Mine, I Don’t Share
“I don’t know if I can do this.” The words were still branded on his mind. He couldn’t shake them. He had been going backstage to see how things were going. He hadn’t liked this whole thing, even from the very beginning. The idea that Lucy would be going out on a date with some random guy made his stomach twist into knots. But he had thought she was okay with it. He had assumed that she was fine, that she was happy to do it, for the charity auction.
“What do you mean?” Cana had asked. Natsu had been able to see them just barely around the curtains. Cana had been fixing Lucy’s hair. Lucy was wringing her hands.
“I… I just don’t think I can do it.”
“You’ve done this sort of thing before,” Cana had said, leaning over Lucy’s shoulders to fix a pin with purls into her hair just above her ear. “Is this about Natsu?”
Natsu remembered the turmoil of emotions he had been feeling, now, standing at the stage with the whole group of men ready to bid, they only seemed multiplied.
“I can’t… I can’t get him out of my head, Cana.”
“I know, I know, Lucy. You’re in love with Natsu. When are you going to get over it and just ask him out.” Those words had hit him in the gut like Gajeel’s iron fist. He couldn’t breathe for half a moment, and then he stumbled away from the stage in a daze.
Lucy… Lucy’s in love with me.
How long had he been daydreaming about her? Since they day they had met? He wasn’t sure. He felt dizzy. The curtains were opening. The charity auction was about to begin. What am I going to do?! He knew he couldn’t let some random guy take Lucy on a date. It was preposterous.
Max stepped out on stage, “Hello, and welcome to Fairy Tail’s annual Date Auction for Charity!” There was a round of applause, and cheers. Natsu couldn’t even move. His hands were balled into fists, he was furious. I’m going to bid for her. The idea was suddenly so stuck fast in his mind, there was no way he could shake it away. I’m going to bid for Lucy, and I’m going to win her. He didn’t care how much money it took. She was his.
“The rules for bidding is simple! Bidding starts at 10,000 Jewels! Remember, this is for Charity! If you win, you get to go on a lovely date with one of the beautiful ladies of Fairy Tail!” More cheers. Yeah, yeah, get to the point.
“Let’s begin the bidding—” Natsu waited impatiently through three other biddings before Lucy stepped out onto the stage. She was gorgeous—as always. She made his knees weak, and his heart pound like crazy. But today she was even prettier. Maybe it was the way she was wearing her hair up, or the fancy pale blue dress. She looked like a princess. “Celestial Mage, Miss Lucy Heartfilia! Starting at 10,000 Jewels!”
“15,000!” Someone shouted, almost instantly. Natsu spun around to find the face, rage boiling in his chest like some sort of untamed beast.
“18,000!” Another guy shouted.
Say something, Natsu! He could see Lucy’s brown eyes from where he stood in the middle of the crowd. She looked so pale, and anxious. Heart hammering in his chest, Natsu took a breath.
“30,000… going once… going twice—”
“Hey, SHUT UP, all of you!” Natsu roared. A hush fell over the crowd. Lucy’s eyes widened, and her cheeks flushed as a smile touched her lips.
“I’m bidding… 80,000.”
“Eighty Thousand!” Natsu roared. He felt his cheeks burning, there was a twitch in his hands—inviting fire. He ignored it, letting his rage boil inside—silently daring anyone to try and outbid him. There were tears in Lucy’s eyes on stage, he could see them shimmering in the light.
“80,000… going once… going twice… sold to—” Before the rest of the sentence was out of Max’s mouth, Natsu was shoving his way through the crowd and onto the stage. “Um. Natsu. We don’t usually do that—”
“Natsu,” Lucy whispered. He stopped just before her, reaching out for her hands. That rage was still boiling in his chest. The rest of these guys are looking at her, watching her, imagining what they’d do with her… “You bid for me.”
“Of course, I did,” he said, and then with a surge of emotion, he leaned forward and quickly pulled her into a searing kiss. She’s mine. She’s mine, and I want everyone to know. He deepened the kiss, running his fingers through her hair, breathing in the scent of her perfume: cherry blossoms and summer rain. He leaned forward, tilting her back, she wrapped her arms around her shoulders. They were so close he could almost feel her heart pounding in time with his. When he pulled away Lucy’s face was bright red, her eyes half-lidded.
“You’re mine. I don’t share,” he whispered. Her eyes widened, and her cheeks flushed an even deeper red.
The crowd was cheering, maybe they were hoping for the same experience with the girls they won in the auction. All of these girls can kick your ass. Natsu almost laughed at the thought, but he was relieved to know that Lucy wasn’t one of the ones who might have to. You’re safe. You’re with me. That’s all that matters.
THE FACT THAT GRAY NEVER ACTED UPON HIS FEELINGS WITH JUVIA IS BECAUSE HE NEVER FELT LIKE HE WAS GOOD ENOUGH OR READY FOR A RELATIONSHIP!!! He always loved her and wanted to be with her but being that most of his relationships were distructive, like his fighting with Lyon or ultear being his “sister” and never knowing or his conflict with his father. He was scared of ruining something with her but now with those past relationships mended and having a supportive friend group and having a better mind set about how he feels NOW HE CAN ACTUALLY BE HAPPY WITH JUVIA too bad that isn’t her though and it’s stupid tōka
