@staff Ok so, i know u guys are trying to revise the site and upgrade it, thats all fine and dandy (thank you) but this was a Miss!! And I know you know it! So please for the love of god just give your users a CHOICE!!! Mainstream with other popular platforms like Youtube, Discord, Twitch ect and give us a Dark Mode/ Light Mode Choice!!! This will save you SO MUCH HATE from your users!!!
And more importantly: why force everyone to have that horrible blue (’true blue’ now apparently) and other neon colorsfor months, causing eye strain and headaches to multiple users, instead of giving us the choice from the beginning?
After months of illogical decision making, @staff finally seems to act rationally again. Let’s just hope this will extend to other broken features of this website / app.
For those on desktop still hating that ‘true blue’, @new-xkit-extension created an extension called “old blue” that restores your dashboard’s old coloring.
Following the recent redesign of the forums/website, I’ve received feedback that the color scheme (blinding white and full primary blue) can be hard to look at.
That’s why there’s now an option for those of you that wish to save your device’s battery– or your eyesight.
Here’s how it looks:
How to Enable Dark Mode
There are several ways to enable dark mode, depending on your device and browser. On Google Chrome, pay a visit to Settings > Appearance and change your color settings. (This works on Android as well!)
On iPhones, using the integrated iOS dark mode should automatically do the trick, but of course you can override it with your browser settings.
On Windows, right click your desktop and choose Personalize > Colors to toggle between Light and Dark.
tumblr prediction for the next week: there’s going to be actual discourse over which new colour mode everyone uses, people start making character alignment charts and personality tests based on which one you use
