I’ve been neglecting stretching lately, I’ve been putting focus on aerial strength instead. Nice to have the time to spend on lengthing out again! ☺️✨

Ouch! Round Two of elbow rolls.
I’m so glad we revisited them, they hurt so badly the first time we learnt them I didn’t want to do them again. But they actually weren’t so bad and were smoother than last time.
The bruises still suck though, one of my biceps was still swollen a few hours later 😂 Definitely worth it though.
Contortionist Henry Miller
Cobra extention. Ugh. This was a lot.
I decided for the first time in a few weeks to train contortion. Spent a good while warming up properly and had a little moan to someone about how hard it felt before getting into it.
I warmed up my backbends, bridge and forearm bridge before moving onto this. It was such an intense stretch! More so than I anticipated through the internal obliques.
It was my first time trying it today, my set up is still quite awkward and my transfer backwards was not so great either. But something fun to work towards!
(The next go my transfer backwards was smoother but I couldn’t get all the back into the full extension.)
